I finally got a Rode NT2, because i thought it will sound better on Jeanne's voice, and I wasn't wrong. I have made an mp3 of the first tests Please excuse Jeanne, it's her absolute first recording (and she'll do very fine with a little bit of work). However, you really hear the mike. Download MP3-T...

Well, the fun will be for tommorow morning... i must get a good mic. I know about mic quality vs ambience: myself i do the sound of some hardcore hiphop guys, and their mic is not even a sm57, it's worst and it must have costed 10 USD, and has a pretty incredible sound ( bad but tasty)... but that's...

hear, hear, hear, (nb: hear, hear, hear, is what the Lords says in the British House of Lords when they agree: i heard it myself on a debate about closing Pubs at 10pm, and that was a revolution. Some Deputy said that the beer was sacred and the whole House said "hear hear hear". Ok that's f...

the AT4033 is 304 euros, but without the shockmount. With the shockmount, i've negociated it for 457 euros, including a popless filter.

mmm, all this makes it difficult. I'm still considering the AT4033 due to reviews (look on http://www.sospubs.co.uk/ search AT4033) and I will do Vocals, and only Vocals, man or female. However the response curve of the Rode NT 2 is similar to what i would naturally do in a equalizer to get a sound ...

I agree you shouldn't buy any creamware card because that's too much competition for me, people with a pro sound quality inside and in the i/o, wicked devices, all in real time, etc... why can't i be the only one who use them ???!!!??? myself, i would need a 20 Ghz pentium 8 to replace the pu...

which one of the sequencers manage precise automations (volumes). I use Cubase VST but i find the "dynamic events" very unprecise and problematic (sometimes they do not play right). (i want to do this with the mouse, not a midi controller) I see what pro tools can do and VST is very far from this an...

I have the advanced orchestra and is better with special effects in order to delete the "realism" sounding but keep a flavor from a real string. I think one should forget trying to have a realistic orchestra in a sampler/synth, unless you have something like protools to manage enveloppes precisely (...

I just received the MQ3 http://www.joemeek.net/joemeek/index.htm First the weight is pretty good (it's all metal outside). Then it's smells more like a new car engine than a computerized circuit. For me, smell is a criteria .It smells like old industry, i like that. === Sound === Used input : ...

Oh well, it's not necessarily a decision of creamware "not" to make it available, but may be it's closer to what exist in the real hardwares, or to match your midi controllers values (or they didn't think someone would have real mathemetaphysical problems with this , hehe

in fact i think the solution is to mail to CW to ask them to include F/Hz display on the filters and not 0-127  no? For the moonizer, i have something to add to the enveloppe trigger (and change the filters of course  but the key follower was not scheduled (may be if i find the time to...
