Re: SpaceF KrOn and CV synths

Sounds are killing 2Zani.
The Neutron PWM demo was huge.
And Volcano sounds really unique and has vintage + modern flavors.
Excellent stuff.

Re: Strymon Pedals w/ MIDI

Probably the best Delay/Reverb and Tape Flange I’ve ever had. I’ve automated the Strymon Timeline and it’s also very powerful routed into the XITE-1. The Tape Flange and Tape Chorus actually taught me how Hendrix got such a great sound in the studio. And guess what, they both run off of SHARC ADSP-2...

First rule of Governent spending....
Why buy one when you can have two at twice the price.
Love the idea and sound possibilities.

Re: Intel C236 Build

I’d hold off on the C236. Might be Asus implementation of it. Xeon is 3.8 but shows up as 4GHz. Worked well for a few days then the PCI Overflow messages. Went back to the i7 4790k. GaryB is going to fix it for me. If that doesn’t work I also sent along an ASRock C236. If both boards do this we know...

Re: Any car people out here?

Rejection is also being avoided. Losing out on an audition made me practice harder, getting smoked by headliners keyboard players made me practice. Hard to find demanding teachers these days. They all seem to use psychology and dealing with behavior, then comes the discipline of learning. Interestin...

Re: Micro ATX PCI expander

It’s great for ASIO Sampled instruments. Yes, with software like VEPro Digital Audio is cheaper and easier to get high quality audio. Get a used RME like a Ray Dat or even cheaper if possible. It’s the quality of the drivers that makes RME, Lynx and Apogee better cards. But you should try the onboar...

Babysitting Can Be Fun

Still in the process of using this live to replace Zebra2 HZ & Omnisphere. 2 x 4 Voice patches saved as a multi with C3 split point mostly. Sounds great too. Instead of having these little sub humans trying to get me to play with boring toys or watch silly shows, I teach to play and learn subtractiv...

Re: Roland's new Keytar the AX-EDGE, WOW. Impressive!

Cool stuff. Lab coats are a Roland trademark. There believe that people will associate the products with science. The V Piano video was truly hilarious. Scientists with note pads walking around acting scientific and shit. A Pianist performing inside of a glass isolation booth, being studied by the R...

CREAMWARE A16 ULTRA——-Not 4 Sale

Mint Condition. Only slight scratch by serial number in the pic below. Otherwise cleaner than a lean dick dog. Comes with Firewire and ADAT cables. Tested w/ Z-Link and ADAT to make sure all ins and outs worked. No crackles no noise just massive clean I/O. I would advise getting Pro LA Audio custom ...

Re: 1U PC Rack for Scope/PulsarII?

I actually have a brand new mobo in the box, ASRock Z97. It was a spare for my spare PC. I’m on Windows 10 Scope 7 now so my spares are great but will never use this motherboard. Try and find a new i7 4000 series CPU and maybe since your a live player I’ll give it to you for shipping costs and 20 bu...

Re: 1U PC Rack for Scope/PulsarII?

Id go with a 4U.
Plenty of those, they’re cheap, and an older Z97 from ASRock always works.
It’s the older Devils Canyon CPUs that are pricey.

Re: Micro ATX PCI expander

I've been using Riser Cards and Ribbons for years. Its how I have 1U PCs for Scope. Using micro ATX too. We don't need all of the excess slots and gunk on gaming boards. hello, i would be interested to give new life to my pulsarII card with a lot of synths purchased... is it possible to have more i...
