i agree that some software liscences do take the extreme.musicians and authors of books and paintings etc. can also make ridiculous rules over the use of their creations,however.most things we copy or tape are also illegal.(you know,movies,tv shows, sporting events, concerts and records.)i also agre...

and sp/dif optical is "extra".i just manually installed the files in their proper directories (the files NOT the folders)after unzipping to a cdrw.it worked great.

yes, if the samples are 44.1 that's what you must use unless you reclock them at another sample rate.(cubase should do that, logic will) 44.1 is fine tho- that's what the cd will be at, so everything will be 44.1 sooner or later.........

being that is is vu and not peak metering,i find the v3 speed acceptable.(it's as fast as or faster than logic 4.7.2, meterwise.)

i am blissfully short memoried in this department.maybe next time i erase tracks presumed to be backed up but not checked,only to find that the back-up media was defective and that nothing was saved i'll let you know.(won't happen if my prayers are answered positively and i learned my lesson.)
