Re: Capacity limit of DSP cards Scope 7 XITE 64bit, but HARDLY ANYTHING loaded

Thanks jksuperstar. I will have a look through the forum to see if I can find more info about faxinadu's fix and placing the SB404 on a specific dsp. It does sort of ring a bell now you mention it. So yes very helpful and thanks for that. Thanks also for the info on the STM 2448 X mixer, and that ma...

Re: Capacity limit of DSP cards Scope 7 XITE 64bit, but HARDLY ANYTHING loaded

Ok So I renamed Scope PCI folder, then opened Scope XITE, deleted every module in the routing window and rebuilt the project with just some basic I/O modules and the STM 2448 X. Lowered the Samplerate to 44.1, and I am now able to get 1 SB404 running. But if I try to add a second SB404 I get another...

Re: Capacity limit of DSP cards Scope 7 XITE 64bit, but HARDLY ANYTHING loaded

Thanks for the help Gary. I will try renaming Scope PCI folder and see if that makes a difference although I am pretty sure the device is loading from the XITE dir. Looking at the second message again, yes like you say it is probably some module that is not working properly. I will try what you sugg...

Capacity limit of DSP cards Scope 7 XITE 64bit, but HARDLY ANYTHING loaded

I just recently got my XITE set up again and connected to my DAW. In the same DAW I also have 3 x Scope Pro PCI cards and those have always worked without issues, and I can load large projects with many modules and devices with no DSP capacity issues, up to a point of course. I have just upgraded to...

Re: Scope 7 Bug List

I have just reinstalled Scope 7 for both PCI and for XITE on Windows 7 64bit , and when I load a device that uses Midi Clock input, it reports an incorrect midi clock timing in the display when set to use external midi clock. I previously installed Scope 7 on Windows 7 32bit and this had the same is...

Thanks. I will just do the upgrade to 7 instead of trying to run both on same OS. :)

Re: Midi crackles running 2 Pulsar cards

Does the Mackie controller connect via USB. If so check to make sure your second card is not sharing an IRQ with the USB slot that the Mackie is connected to. If the Mackie is just connecting to the MIDI I/O connectors on the pulsar then it could be the IRQ of the second card is sharing with somethi...

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

Yes, it's kind of like inviting everyone to your wedding before you have asked the girlfriend if she'll marry you.......correction....before you even have a girlfriend :) Anyway, I guess the best thing is to wait and see how MPA fares when it is available, and then perhaps If it is something that us...

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

Yes when I asked about this a short time ago, I was told it was best to email bug reports to support, and there is also the Scope 7 bug report thread http://forums.scopeusers.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=35221 so other users can check against their setups and confirm if it's also a bug on their system or...

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

What a nonsense. Frank Hund and me are not in contact since many years. I'm not involved in any of his plans and not interested in any discussion or colaboration with him or any of his companies, due to the preceding difficult relationship. What I'm doing here is working on the SCOPE v7.1 update. S...

Re: Would appreciate some advice on reconfiguring my hard drive settings

Thanks for the picture Dante. Unfortunately for me it seems my bios doesn't have this feature, so just using windows boot manager. Will also get another ssd for sample libraries etc, as it has made a big difference already having the OS on SSD.

Thanks again.

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

hi Frank; Welcome back :) This all sounds exciting, can't wait to see what you have to offer. Using existing Scope gear is a good starting point I think. I hope that you and Holger can come to an agreement to propel both of your interests for the benefit of all. +1.. Can't wait to see what this new...

Re: Analog inputs

Jopo, if you have an A16U already, why dont you just set the jumper switches at the back of that and have 8 channels set to unbalanced level and leave 8 channels for balanced level. Or are you using the 16 channels of the A16U in balanced level already. If not you could do this and then connect the ...

Thanks for the clarification Valis. I will have a look at my mobo manual and see if this is implemented on the Gigabyte. No biggie if not though

Thanks for the replies. Ok, fair enough. I already have Scope 7 32 PCI on one partition, but I will do an image backup of each of my Scope 5.1 partitions and then upgrade the rest when I can. :) Thanks again.

Re: Z-link Card 1, ADAT card 2. Any known latency / phase issues?

Thats great to hear. Yes sometimes it is something really simple that fixes it. I had a feeling it might be someting like that, as I had a similar issue once with some ADAT cables that were too fat around the end after the actual connector part, so they didnt fit properly. Anyway, glad its working f...

Is is possible to run Scope 5.1 and Scope 7 on the same OS partition

I upgraded to Scope 7 like most here I think, but since I wanted to keep Scope 5.1 both 32 bit and 64 bit which I do have on separate partitions obviously, so I created a new partition set up Windows 7 32bit on that and installed Scope 7 32 bit there. But since I have now moved those over to an SSD,...
