Re: Linnstrument (My Review)

Thank you Brain! :) Well, it is sort of expectable to find these kind of little problems in a completely new approach to midi instruments. I understand you want something with less flaws on it, but I would also like for you to comment about the goods on it, the feelings you get when playing it, how ...

Re: Dave Smith Instruments & 8DIO Sequential Prophet X

Wow, fantastic, amazing sounds... unusual things coming out of it. I have gone through other very interesting demos too, no waist at all. Now... :o what the hell is this glass of watter doing onto the keyboard, if it is spilled by accident it could cost you a bad short and the end of the fun! ...

Re: Dave Smith Instruments & 8DIO Sequential Prophet X

I tried one of those amazing Emulators back in 1989, the sound was so advanced and wonderful that everyone in the shop would come together in front of it while putting amazement faces, including me. It was kind of an extraterrestrial experience. Yes, only 16 ibts.

Re: Which is your best choice for a WOODWINDS Library?

 Yes..., sometimes you get a word the wrong way and then it is difficult to get it out as it gets wired into your nervous system! This is my case with “woodings”, which I have been saying the wrong way for too long of a time. At least I haven’t said “pudding”! :P Well, jokes apart, I am getting...

Re: Dave Smith Instruments & 8DIO Sequential Prophet X

I'm considering it but want to wait for the rack-mount version. I wonder why it's only 16 bit? Maybe the filters make that irrelevant. I like that you will be able to import samples in December but if it's only 16 bit you can import, I would rather make my own samples and mangle them with an H9000....

Re: Enhancia - Neova Ring

Of course 8)

I see I have misunderstood the idea in the first place because I thought you could made it wireless anyway, connecting, not the ring, but the extension platform to the PC, but of course, the ring itself must have some electric power on it. Doh

I't s a fantastic idea, really cool! :) A great expression and fun toy. My only point against would be the batery. Why not feeding it through the USB port itself instate?

Re: Cakewalk keeps alive!

I have a Samick myself and it is an amazing detailed construction guitar, it sounds and plays great, too. I have paid it less than 5% of what a used Fender or Gibson would cost. It makes no sense… not anymore. The brand mind focus is changing today, and for good reasons I think. There are many profi...

Which is your best choice for a WOODWINDS Library?

It is time to get a complete and high quality woodwind library for classical-cinematic arrangements. A library that would not compromise in quality, but that would be in a good price range, if at all possible. Any experiences on this? Which one do you own if you have one? Thanks.

Re: 96 KHz

Yes, it will always happen the same, this is the way technology goes up and the market itself moves too, in accordance, so it keeps alive, that’s fine. We will probably go to a new standard of 192 KHz and so on in the following months or years. I know people already working in 384 KHz for very high ...
