Re: Show us your Rockabilia

The SC book is mostly just a cut and paste of other Internet content. The history of Creamware, John Bowen, Windows, DSP, Gemany itself's arts, culture and history. Then explanations of PCI, PCIe. Theres not much about S|C itself actually - maybe a page. Its plagiarism at best really :) I think I w...

Re: Could this be the Shreddage Killer ?

Guitar VST and Guitar Amp/FX modelling has come a long way even since Shreddage 1. I remember saying to DawMan just a few years ago that the only way to get a good guitar sound is with a guitar. But I'm somewhat reversed on that position now. You cant get a real guitar sound/performance with a keybo...

Show us your Rockabilia

Here's mine its fairly humble compared to Gene Simmons or anyone that owns a real studio or is a real muso. But always interested to see what others have. Its a change from the Studio pics which adorn every music tech forum. Dantes Rock And Roll Memorabillia.jpg The ship on a stick on the left I won...

Could this be the Shreddage Killer ?

Its called 'IronAxe' https://www.xhun-audio.com/site/xhun.php?page=ironaxe- and its modelled - so no bulky sample library or clunky Kontakt UI's :

Re: Propellerheads Reason 11 comming soon

It would be good if a) Harrision + Scope played nice together and b) XTC mode comes back for Scope (incl XITE). Then everything will be super interoperable. I guess a) depends on b),- does it ? Bud Dont know. To use Scope normally you have to choose its driver in the DAW. But XTC I remember somethi...

Re: Propellerheads Reason 11 comming soon

I hope Reason 10.4 runs well w/ XITE-1/SCOPE v7 on Win7 Pro 64Bit, Z97 ... The latest version of Reason 10 works well with Scope on Win 10 x64 (XITE and PCI) so should work on Win7. On one 10.x release of Reason it wouldn't recognise Scope drivers and some other what they called 'legacy' drivers - ...

Re: Blokas Midihub

That looks real cool. I'm holding off any new MIDI processing gear - I dont use that I have due to limitations. But MIDI 2 looks like it has potential. So if this new MidiHub comes out with a version supporting MIDI 2 then it could be an instabuy. Property exchange looks really exciting if the manuf...

Re: Propellerheads Reason 11 comming soon

I think it will also allow the SSL mixer as a plugin to other daws - an interesting proposition. But I’m sold on Harrison now and have the system for stemming out of Reason into Harrison down pat. Maybe just the addition of an external SSD to speed that part up a bit. XTC mode for XITE would complet...

Re: Propellerheads Reason 11 comming soon

Yep it means Ill be able to run all my Reason Rack devices in Harrision Mixbus 32 C - so it looks like I wont need to even track in Reason as much - or at all over time. All we need now is XTC mode for XITE and I can run Scope plugins within Harrison as well - meaning no more proWave bouncedowns / s...

If I was going to shell on an actual unit (vs virtual) - it would be this - https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/OX--universal-audio-ox-reactive-amp-attenuator-with-speaker-modeling But they are $2 large in AUS$. :( Still - they would be good for live and practice and recording and portable and a...

Re: Hooked on Harrison (MB32C)

Mixbus is absolutely blowing me away : I've done about 10 remixes - and started up a playlist here. The new soundcloud embed here doesn't work for soundcloud playlists - so here's an old skool style link : https://soundcloud.com/hitfoundry/sets/harrison-mixbus32c-remix Everything I do will have to b...

Re: 20th Anniversary on PlanetZ

Honestly, I would use Harrison as the mixer with a BCR or something, but I haven't found a way to connect MIDI to the UAD devices in Harrison. I think that may be a Reason only feature - one of the big advantages with Reason's VST implementation. With UAD Console 2 you can emulate track by track ana...

UAD doesn’t even have MIDI for their plug ins much less that weak Console 2 Mixer.
They do for me - in Reason. Console I agree.
