Re: samplitude DAW crashes with scope

Is samplitude sending any real-time data, or do you have a synth that does? I used to get frequent crashes from Roland synths that send active sensing, and realized that has to be filtered BEFORE the Scope inputs (not filtered in Scope).

Re: Behringer model d in my Studio

Where can you find this stand stateside? The closest I have been able to find to something like this is: https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Multi-Media-Desktop-109434/dp/B00AJHCQD8/ You might like one of these for 50 USD. Perfect for small modules. I’m assuming you have a MIDI CONTROLLER. This is also...

Re: Windows 10 midi device install notes

Yep says it supports MultiTTM (in its own language), so no idea. Glad that mine works off a hub though, as the computer is not very close to my desk. Certainly appreciate the sharing of information, always.

Re: Windows 10 midi device install notes

BCF2000 here works fine with a hub, but I make sure I use Multi-TTM hubs instead of passive ones...

Re: Machete kills ! Ableton !

The launchpad does indeed have the Ableton logo on it. It started as a more flexible performance oriented alternative to the APC40 and inspired the Push, and is now MUCH more flexible. As this movie shows! ;)

Re: Creamware A16 Power Supply?

PSU must convert from source mains (120 or 240V, AC) to DC 19Volts, 2Amps. Post the connector end as well!

Re: v7 drivers (64bit)

If you can provide detailed information it will surely assist the development of the driver. The real question is time, as in the developer(s) have a finite amount of time/resources and so who can know when things can be addressed. It's surely better to assist as much as you can instead of just comp...

Re: v7 drivers (64bit)

This may be why setting the application (not Scope) to Win8.1 (or Win7) compatibility mode is of some help to hosts who otherwise crash... it might give NtDeviceIoControlFile the 0x0004 response... (or at least not 0x0007?) That's assuming of course that this is the difference that does indeed cause...

Re: Scope 7

Indeed, and yet they crash, while the newly installed ones (back in the proper place) do not. If I delete the old ones, and launch the new ones, they still work! So something has changed, most likely the dsp files they rely on.

Re: Scope 7

One thing I noticed by overwriting my 5.x install, I have moved devices around over the years. Some of these moved devices (Psy-Q, Optimaster etc) will crash if I load the old/legacy devices that are in the wrong place and thus not overwritten in the new install. They match the date of the new files...

Re: Korg Prologue

Yes on stage visibility is key. Jimmy, you are so much more brave with your gear than I. I cart around a stack of projectors, LED walls, & Computers for my visual work. But I refuse to take Scope or my Solaris out of the studio. If I had a house fire I would save my family first, and then run back i...

They haven’t fully Released all the details on the digital oscillator, but apparently he will be able to design your own waveforms, and the effect section will also be able to be extended via a provided utility so users can design their own effects. Also the effect section is digital and is in the a...

Re: Korg Prologue

Heh. Well it looks interesting, and somehow has me thinking of perhaps this instead of the Rev2, which I'm not in a hurry to get but is the next most likely upgrade here on the synth side of things. Same hybrid approach as JDXa but in a more sensible manner (not parallel dig/ana voices but just the ...
