Re: Needing Scope 4.5 for Mac Installers

Maybe a sub forum with all things "often requested", like older scope installs and plugins. Maybe even the info about "which mobo". We could call it: this is what you are looking for :) I'm thinking an 'essential downloads' etc type thread that is stuck to the top of a forum. Also note in the threa...

Re: Needing Scope 4.5 for Mac Installers

Ok, I'll archive them. I don't see any need to replicate anything that's on the scope.zone server , but anything else that helps the user base seems like a good idea to me. Will need to figure out a good thread name for archive links, but in the meantime here are the direct links: http://www.scopeus...

Re: Old devices & downloads - do you have them?

So to be a bit transparent about what is going on here: any device that has a broken link because it has html embedded in the post should be available at scopeusers.com/Pulsar/files, as only the url has changed as the files were copied to this new server by John Cooper. These are the devices I'm att...

Re: DONATION DRIVE for old devices & downloads

I have worked a few times on resolving the broken urls but the size of the database has thus far been an issue (the php import does not complete because all forum posts exceeds 200MB). Did some tests last night breaking this into chunks and broke the forums... However I did fix a few other errors wh...

Re: Audio/MIDI Interface with Mixer

Well, the interface CAN be booted by a computer and then run in 'disconnect' mode standalone with a separate power supply (12v IIRC). I have not tried seeing if it responds to HUI/Mackie modes from the front MIDI inputs but that's surely a question that the RME forums could answer.

Re: Audio/MIDI Interface with Mixer

You can get RME Multifaces on Ebay for $200-300, the hard part is finding a PCIe connection interface (HDSPe) for less than $300 also. But many systems ship with PCI cards for the same price...

My BCF2000 in HUI or Mackie mode controls the Multiface mixer just fine.

Re: Audio/MIDI Interface with Mixer

Fairly sure he is looking at a hardware solution that can survive a software crash. Scope does fit this bill, even though it has a software frontend.

Re: iLoud Micro (monitors)

I concur with gary's point as well. However for the cost of these speakers I am blown away. I wouldn't use them as mains as they still don't extend as low as my larger nearfields, and they wouldn't serve a live situation where high SPL is needed. But when the wife & kids are asleep, I can happily do...

Re: 3rd party plugins S|C

An app will not work with the current copy protection system, and tying the registration to the board via functions implemented in the hardware does indeed protect what remains of Sonic|Core's revenue streams imho. I would rather Holger remain employed than facilitate ease of moving our licenses aro...

Re: iLoud Micro (monitors)

By the way, I purchased a set of iLoud Micro monitors for myself and am completely floored by the way they sound (for the size). Obviously since they are overcompensating for small size with DSP based correction, the maximum level (SPL) is more limited than one would expect for a 'trebel rebel' spea...

Re: wave source for windows 10 64bit fixed in Scope 7?

Line out to mic input for onboard sound is EXACTLY how I used my studio mic for gaming for ages. The upshot of this is that you can uh, do much more than just a straight mic feed =]

At the very least I was doing a touch of eq/gate/optimaster. But running through a vocoder or etc sure was fun too!

Re: Creamware Pulsar 1 Help/Support/Install files needed

I would go so far as to say anything before v3.1 isn't worth installing to 'see if you want to use the cards'. And since you can have 4.5 instead of v2, I would do as garyb suggests. He may know a thing or two =]

Re: 64bit drivers and modules: what is working and what is not

You have conflated too many things together here @next to nothing, though I can understand your frustration. The WAVE drivers issues have shown up many times over the years, and have more to do with the fact that Scope intends itself to be a realtime system that relies primarily on the DSP chips for...

Re: 3rd party plugins S|C

You would only need to tie them to 1 device in a system, with the PCI cards all in 1 system. If you split the cards up between systems, 1 license per system (on any given card) will let the software load. If you tie them to the Xite, I would assume that it's similar to the PCI cards in that it will ...

Re: infacing a dedicated DAW pc ?

I run Scope on a second PC, and prefer this. I also have an analog board and other outboard gear, so this workflow makes sense alongside all that is going on here. Scope is basically a black box swiss army knife when used as standalone gear, and anything I can do via the DAW is still possible. Saw R...

Re: Feature Request - Inline Soundcloud Widgets

When you post, go to the full posting page (not quick reply) and hover over the 'SOUNDCLOUD' link and you'll get instructions via the tooltip. As stated in my above post, this is the simplest solution I can implement right now barring creating a PHPBB plugin myself. Let me know your thoughts...
