Re: Key for Scope 5.1

I own these forums, not Sonic|core. Nice try though.

Not only do I support GaryB’s decisions, but note I have warned you already as well.

I realize there is a language barrier, but respect our users and share what info you know without beating us over the head please. This is your last warning.

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

While I don't disagree, let's keep these forums neutral. It's not hard to contact MPA and inquire directly btw, there's no need to do an end-run.

Re: COMPUTING latency across the years and YOU

asiofixer, only 1 post is necessary for a given subject. I see this exact post repeated 3 times across our forums. Most of our users come here enough to keep up on everything, and the forum provides handy features to let people easily identify new posts and material. Thank you, and I am very happy t...

Re: Issues with Bitwig 2.x and questions about 2nd ASIO source

Some portion of the binary blob MAY be compatible since it's x86/x64, but the rest of the operating stack would require the drivers to be ported. And Scope isn't like RME or MOTU in that it's "just" a soundcard, the entire operating system side of things has to be written for linux, including the UI...

Check the screenshots in this thread. I'll have to defer to GaryB for a current download link, the link has indeed expired.

Re: Issues with Bitwig 2.x and questions about 2nd ASIO source

I use Mac/PC/linux, and am perfectly happy with Scope in the role it's in. I would no more try to convert you to Win/Mac for Bitwig than I would expect anyone to try to convert me off linux for my server hosting stack. RME cards work well under linux btw (if you need an alternative to MOTU). Setup a...

Re: Issues with Bitwig 2.x and questions about 2nd ASIO source

That's what I do, Mac for Logic, WinXP box for Scope. It just turns Scope into a swiss army knife that works as outboard gear, which I have enough of that it doesn't mess with my workflow.

Also it's interesting to note that the idea of breaking up the social media giants seems to have traction on both sides of the isle. Liberal politicians and publishers alike are more and more behind this idea.

Re: Security & Privacy with technology in 2018 and beyond

Interesting article on tech industry and it's goals for "market disruption" . Ie, what do we get in exchange for the 'disruption'? Note this was a term I heard a lot back in the dot-com boom when I was working for video hardware companies (and helping beta test major nonlinear DAW & Video apps whic...

Synth Boxes?

Any recommendations for synth-compatible boxes? Pricing them from online options (versus making my own by cutting a few together) puts me at $60-90 with the proper size and internal foam+bubble wrap. Of course some of this I have lying around...but open to input from the peanut gallery here. (Finall...

Re: WIN a FREE Axoloti Core! Giving away our Axoloti micro controller synthesizer

You're a Scope dev that has contributed a lot. As long as there's at least something Scope (visible & relevant) contained along with your promo messages, we'll support you as well. We understand Scope isn't enough to make a living from for most devs, but win-win is always good!

Re: WIN a FREE Axoloti Core! Giving away our Axoloti micro controller synthesizer

Moving this to your forum and leaving a link here on the OT section. Btw for a free giveaway that supports you as a dev, I would have allowed this in the announcements area if you also include something (anything) scope related in your post.

Re: what is the simples way to play VSTs into scope ?

I would use Bidule. It might *seem* complex, but the routing isn't all that dissimilar to Scope--with the caveats that you need to understand how the 'sync' option at the top of devices, and it has slightly different 'rules' to how you can share audio & midi data streams (wires) than Scope of course...
