Re: Cannot install Xite-1 driver
Well, I'm sorry none of it worked for you. Clearly you have done everything possible to eliminate issues outside of the Xite hardware, so it pretty much has to be a problem with Xite. Hopefully S/C will be able to jump on this and get you up and running Xite bliss soon.

Re: Cannot install Xite-1 driver
hi there John. :) I am currently using two graphics cards in the PC. I removed the second graphics card and replaced it with the Xite1 card. Switched on the Xite-1 then switched on my PC. The PC started up for a few seconds, stopped and restarted again, then stopped and restarted again in this cont...

Re: Reading (UK) area resident with PCIE slot to test Xite-1
Most likely you have another PCIeX16 slot. Move your video card to that and see if it works. If it does, move it back to the original slot (or not). You can then use either of the PCIeX16 slots for your x1 Xite card. Any lesser channel card will work on a greater channel PCIe slot. I currently have ...

Re: Nasty BSOD w Scope v5 RC
Thanks for all the helpful suggestions, guys. I'd planned to switch to a new motherboard with more RAM anyway, so hopefully this will take care of most failing hardware issues. But one thing I should point out is that this PowerPulsar has been happily working without any BSODs for 5 years, and it's...

Re: AMD Phenom II X4 955 w/ XITE-1
Yes, I overclock. 4.1 GHz, as posted above, on this board. The chip can do better than that, but the ASRock runs too hot, so that is as far as I could go and maintain stability. Don't be upset with the gamers. Without them we'd be paying double or triple for the same performance. They totally drive ...

Re: AMD Phenom II X4 955 w/ XITE-1
Well certainly you save a lot of money by going with the AMD boards. But I figure the computer is so basic to the whole show, and at a fraction of what the Xite and other sound generating hardware costs, and given the really high performance of the more recent Intel chips....I'm going to stick with ...

Re: Does VDAT work with Xite? Flexor v3?
Thanks for the update. Too bad about the VDAT, it is the best direct-to-disk recorder I've seen. Easy to set up and use; pristine, glitch-free recording. I hope they get it working sooner rather than later.

Does VDAT work with Xite? Flexor v3?
I understand VDAT does not work with PCI Scope v5. Anyone know for sure if it works with Xite Scope v5?
Also, there was some flack about Xite not supporting Flexor v5. Anyone know for sure whether it does or not, and if not if it is planned to?

Re: DxCwm
Thanks! Works great now, both Program and Bank change. I love this synth you created...years ago I ran with a pair of TX816's and every now and again I get the urge to go up into the attic and pull them out, dust them off and see if I can get them running again. Now I don't need to. That DX sound, i...
Re: DxCwm
This is a very, very nice synth. The sounds is familiar to anyone who has used a DX7 or the like, but it has a unique flavor of its own, and it's not something you can easily cobble together in Modular. Thanks much for contributing it. But there is a problem. It will not respond to MIDI program chan...

Re: Scope 5: keyfile.v5 missing Flexor 3 reg
OK, I found the problem. The module files on Scope v4.5 and below were in a directory called: "Scope\Modular2 Modules" ...but in Scope v5 it's called: "Scope\Modular Modules" ...so if you use the Flexor3 installer, it creates the "Modular2 Modules" subdirectory to place...

Scope 5: keyfile.v5 missing Flexor 3 reg
It turns out there is no reg key for Flexor v3. Instead, there is one for Flexor v2, which wasn't even in the 4.5 Scope.rgy file I sent in. Does Scope 5 not support Flexor v3, or was this just a mistake and I need to resend my v4.5 Scope.rgy file? (Apologies if this has been asked and answered, I co...

i7 Motherboard with 3 Scope PCI Cards
I consider my Scope cards to be more like musical instruments than upscale sound cards, because they are largely immune to computer obsolescence. If I baby them, which mostly means not letting them overheat, they will continue to provide the best sound creation setup available, bar none. I started w...

Re: My new Scan 3XS SA-i7 PowerDAW
Right...I see from the picture it's the same problem with PCI slots being used as spacers for the PCIe slots. Too bad, but at least I'm not kicking myself for buying the ASRock now :) It looks like anyone with a 3 card Scope setup or any other need of 3 PCI cards is going to have problems upgrading ...

Re: My new Scan 3XS SA-i7 PowerDAW
It has the Gigabyte EX58-UD4 motherboard which has 3 PCI slots.... Jeez, I looked everywhere for an i7 motherboard with 3 PCI slots. The only thing I could find was from ASRock: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157150 Newegg has the Gigabyte EX58-UD4D which has only 2 PCI sl...

Gate delay for double envelopes
Is there a relatively dsp-inexpensive way to get a gate delay, to create DADSR envelopes, envelopes that trigger some time after receiving the gate signal...and still keep polyphony? It seems this would be simple to make, a gate in, a countdown timer, and a gate out. But none appear on either Modula...

Re: My MoBo died, advice on new setup for 3 Pulsar card setup
If you want to go for a more modern board, I've been using the DFI LP LT X48-T2R Motherboard with no problems at all. Rock solid and easy to set up. I overclock from 2.7 GHz to 3.2. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813136049 ...and if you want to go for the very latest, you coul...

Nice, meditative, piece. I was almost into theta waves when it ended...I wouldn't mind hearing a longer version, or a group of like pieces. Thanks for sharing. Also thanks for giving such a nice demo of what the Atze can do in this context. Definitely goes into my zen music playlist.
