Vdat test
testing VDAT today in the Shogun Dungeon so I decided to do it live ! I Sent a Asio stream from Abelton Into Scope 5.1 mastered with Optmaster recorded to VDAT. I then hit edit selected track 1 and 2 and bounced them over to SoundForge .. Pretty cool https://soundcloud.com/shogun-spy/sixteenminutes

I have been mixing with DNA's Summer of 82 into Scope from Abelton live it makes a big diffrence opens up the mix ect. But it's got me thinking of analog summing. Thanks Gary but still makes no spence to me -6 db is -6db. I am told to mix down to -6db for mastering. Is there any digital meter that is industry standard? I guess as long as there is headroom I should not worry about it

So who do I believe ? Abelton Live says -6db my meters in scope have a different story to tell ..Scope looks like it is agreeing ! Should I just ignore Live
