Re: Who wants to see famous Holger face ?

I guess one can still hope, that future Scope updates will benefit from development made for these new versions of Solaris. And I hope SCOPE 7.1 developement has high priority over J.B.Solaris,- even I´m interested in the 1HU "blackbox" rack-unit too. Every day, I´m waiting for announcement of SCOP...

Re: Who wants to see famous Holger face ?

I wonder if Hrast, as a DSP coder, will not only be part of the Solaris development team and might be involved in SCOPE programming too.
Yes / No ?

The EU Government I'm sure will hit them with a huge fine penalty since the EU Government is always looking for a excuse to squeeze Google and other Big Tech companies for money. Crap,- they are unrivaled global players and make BIG money in europe while paying almost no taxes here. Not only Google...

The A21 was more or less a geek purchase anyway (1600x1200 screen, orginally almost 10 grands... ) iirc It cost me 100 bucks or so :D

Re: How much does the Creamware a16 NON ultra suck?

The internal regulation does NOT like some types of cheap switching PSUs (in case someone replaced the original adapter by such a thing) - it gets way too hot. I run mine on a classic Thinkpad PSU (original IBM), which keeps the A16's regulation less engaged, so the box stays much cooler. Does that...

Boot system followed by load at least 1.5GB factory sample library,- I guess.
New OS v4.05 expanded sample memory up to 3GB,- so maybe it´s what needs 50 seconds now.

Well that S7 might just be my next piano, really nicely designed and decently priced too. (S9 is even nicer too :D )
Studio or live ?
I just read "50sec boot-time".
Means: It already requires some quality UPS when gigging.

The Dexibell ... Strange, the usb connection on the front. I've only seen those type on cameras. That´s still a normal connector. The machine is class compliant, so you take a standard USB A>B cable and directly plug in from any keyboard controller into the module w/o the need of a computer. When y...

Re: What Could Cause PCI Overflow

i think it's a matter of actual timing of data transfer, rather than a total amount of data over a longer period of time. controller efficiency, cpu cycles, a lot of things might cause it. check for an updated bios. what else has changed? if it's at the end of gigs, heat? things are overclocked? Do...

Re: The Time For Scope 7 Is Here

I just hooked up my A16 Ultra and used the ancient 1394 proprietor cables. Everything works. Stuck a pair of cascaded FIreworx via ADAT, then via AES/EBU Hosa ODL 312. Everything works good w/ XITE-1 as the Master. Bidule, Reaper and Cantabile work fine. Hope others get their issues fixed. For me i...
