Re: When I was younger.

Woah ! 1979 ? I was 10 and played just saxo. But I already loved jazz and electronic music ! Yep, somewhere between mid 70s and 1980 ... In 1979 I was 24 and did studio sessions since ~ 1976, performing on Fender Rhodes, Clavinet D6 and ARP/Solina Stringmachine,- piano and organ too. I remember usi...

Re: Waldorf Kyra (Valkyrie)

Didn’t hear their Filters, so I’m assuming they’re not being highlighted for a reason. Usually you show a synths strengths in a demo. All demos from Musikmesse are prototype. I think it will at least be on par w/ Virus TI2 and Waldorf might add some stuff too. We´ll see other demos when the final (...

Re: When I was younger.

I don't know, at that time, I spoke german but my memory is upside down with my grand age, maybe some german people could tell us if we were speaking about the reverb and which one it was. Anyway, I think I throwed it away too. My 1st synth was a Elektor Formant,- a smaller one ... just only 1 cabi...

Re: New Xite Computer

I’m figuring it’s becaue the quad i7 7700k is 20% faster and the 8700k is basically the same core as the 7700k but they refined the chipset and PCH. The 6000 and 7000 came out so fast after each other to respond to AMD that very little maturity occurred. 6000 are discontinued now too. My sons i7 77...

Re: Midi notes hanging....

:-? Why cant I use my Midi Inputs. I always have hanging notes? Using scope 15 card Midi input is impossible for me. SCOPE v5.1 or v7 ? I had it occasionally already in SCOPE 5.1 w/ XITE. Didn´t use the SCOPE 15DSP card much at that time ´cause I left it w/ SCOPE 4.5 even I bought SCOPE 5.1 for it....

...it's the best ... ITB .
Bit O.T.,- but please explain what "ITB" means ´cause I dunno.

"in the ballpark"
"in the biz"
"in the butt"

???

Regardless of result,- I´ll buy it too soon,- just only waiting for SCOPE v7.1.

Re: Aturia V Collection 6

Arturia definitely seem to have a few better instruments than before, these newer ones are definitely worth checking out. The drawback is, at least two of these "better instruments" were 32Bit and 64Bit freeware before for PC and MAC users and now aren´t anymore. Memorymoon ME80 http://www.memorymo...

... if you need a true DX7 emu, you can try https://asb2m10.github.io/dexed/ , and it's free! (I only tried the presets, tweaking was not that straightforward without reading the manual and no real DX7 experience. Sounds great to my ears, many original preset cartridges, I think it's possible to im...

Re: Aturia V Collection 6

I have now tested the V-collection and I must say WOW WOW WOW! The new synthesizers are the best I have heard with vst technology! This is amazing stuff! The DX7 kills all other Plugins trying to emulated the old DX7. And all the other New synthesizers are wonderful. The old synthesizers were updat...

Re: Has a RME pcie better Performance with vst Plugins?

:D I don't know if rme pcie eg raydat model has better smaller faster latency with vst Plugins than latency problem with the scopers pci card? I wonder why you try comparing RME PCIe w/ Creamware (S|C) PCI ... PCIe vs PCI are different bus speed/ data thruput already,- no ? So,- comparing RME PCI a...

Are there any special bundles / offers ahead to make this summer more attractive ?
Last time I talked to Holger, he promised SCOPE suntan lotion, oil, sunglasses and swimming trunk bundle.
He also announced a new SCOPE merch category for the S|C shop.
Is that cool, isn´t it ?

Re: Reaper - no signal when rendering

Scope VSTs... 1st ... you might have a routing problem in Reaper, but we cannot see here when you show just only the SCOPE environment screenshot. In addition, your description is irritating. A "VST" is a DLL-file. SCOPE VSTs are only in use when you use XTC mode, otherweise they are SCOPE devices....

Re: Yet Another Moog - the Grandmother of them all

To be honest ,the Model D sounds so much better to me than the minimax,... Look, I own a original vintage Minimoog D and in the past I owned 3, used ´em in studios and gigged heavily w/ ´em. I´d never say "Minimoog D" sounds BETTER than Minimax,- or even B. Model D. In fact, all my Minimoog Ds soun...

Re: Yet Another Moog - the Gandmother of them all

I have 2 Behringer Model D's, and i just love the sound, my best buy in years :-) All buying decisions come w/ big compromizes meanwhile. While the B´s Model D sounds really good, it comes w/ some disadvantages I don´t understand: 1.) No velocity sensitivity for VCF and VCA over MIDI ... But this i...

... I bought my Xite-1, new, in 2009 for 2855€ at Thomann ... I doubt that was the normal price,- instead it was when they blew ´em out. I also doubt Thoman had many units in stock ever. And now,- tell us all the optional and 3rd party devices are much too expensive because you bought some bundled ...
