Re: Drag'n drop modular patch

Simply because the large patch collection I made since years are not stored on the system HD. And there are already enough mess in my Scope menus ! I never stored any patches, samples and project files on the system drive at all and it worked for me w/ SCOPE and all the other apps I use, Studio One...

GaryB was right, I forgot to use the Activation Key. It’s all good now, just more Native depression. I followed this thread w/ some uneasy feeling. Great it runs now ! B.t.w., are you talking about SCOPEv7/ Win10 installation on the ASUS P10S-M WS / Intel C236 chipset / Intel XEON E3-1275v6 build ?...

Re: The Time For Scope 7 Is Here

I just hooked up my A16 Ultra and used the ancient 1394 proprietor cables. Everything works. Stuck a pair of cascaded FIreworx via ADAT, then via AES/EBU Hosa ODL 312. Everything works good w/ XITE-1 as the Master. Bidule, Reaper and Cantabile work fine. Hope others get their issues fixed. For me i...

Re: Waldorf Kyra (Valkyrie)

My PCs will just become hardware boxes with software samplers. I have extra CPUs motherboards RAM and SSDs laying around too. All H/Z97 i7 5775C and DDR3. All more than enough to handle samplers. 8) The fake synths are what need bigger faster CPUs and still don’t get hardware quality sound. true Th...

I don´t install SCOPE v7 before it will be fixed.

Re: Waldorf Kyra (Valkyrie)

Another 8 part hardware synth as I grow weary with Microsoft and Apple synths. Since I read this already posted @KC https://www.computerworld.com/article/3293429/microsoft-windows/with-daas-windows-coming-say-goodbye-to-your-pc-as-you-know-it.html , I wonder how I´ll deal w/ software in future and ...

Re: Audio Drop outs

Although its german, there is an article at steinberg explaining audio-dropouts at win10 with multicore cpus. Seems like win10 is a piece of crap concerning audio. https://helpcenter.steinberg.de/hc/de/articles/115000535804-Windows-10-Audio-Aussetzer-auf-Mehrkern-CPU-Setups english ... https://help...

Re: Creating audio routing module.

Frustratingly, plenty of UI changes happened since 4.0, both in 5.1 and in 7.0. Lots of guessing as to how to get stuff done and some things just aren't possible (e.g. copying bitmaps between modular pads consistently) Nothing to do w/ audio routing module, so a bit OT,- but: There´s a UI bug in Mi...

win 10 MUST update.
there should be a connection or things don't work correctly.
Ehmmm,- does that mean a Win10 machine has to be online always ... also during audio/MIDI work ? :-?

Re: Only paypal in Sonic Core shop?

S|C Shop is buggy atm,- at least for me.

When clicking on "terms & conditions", "privacy policy", "imprint" and "sidemap" tabs,- the pages are white (empty).

In the past, paying via bank wire was possible,- is that canceled now ?

The download includes not only the Scope files (device and presets), but also the VST ScopeSyncVSTInst-x64_1_0_3.dll.
So, it works in 64Bit system/ SCOPE (PCI/ XITE) & DAW application only ?

Woah ! 1979 ? I was 10 and played just saxo. But I already loved jazz and electronic music ! Yep, somewhere between mid 70s and 1980 ... In 1979 I was 24 and did studio sessions since ~ 1976, performing on Fender Rhodes, Clavinet D6 and ARP/Solina Stringmachine,- piano and organ too. I remember usi...

Re: Waldorf Kyra (Valkyrie)

Didn’t hear their Filters, so I’m assuming they’re not being highlighted for a reason. Usually you show a synths strengths in a demo. All demos from Musikmesse are prototype. I think it will at least be on par w/ Virus TI2 and Waldorf might add some stuff too. We´ll see other demos when the final (...

Re: When I was younger.

I don't know, at that time, I spoke german but my memory is upside down with my grand age, maybe some german people could tell us if we were speaking about the reverb and which one it was. Anyway, I think I throwed it away too. My 1st synth was a Elektor Formant,- a smaller one ... just only 1 cabi...

Re: New Xite Computer

I’m figuring it’s becaue the quad i7 7700k is 20% faster and the 8700k is basically the same core as the 7700k but they refined the chipset and PCH. The 6000 and 7000 came out so fast after each other to respond to AMD that very little maturity occurred. 6000 are discontinued now too. My sons i7 77...
