Re: Best mobo and cpu combo

1 - As i understand there is some issues with 1st gen PCI card along with 2st gen. AFAIK you can test if it´s a 1st or 2nd gen card. Remove the other DSP cards from computer,- use your 15DSP card only and try to get it down to 7ms in ULLI. Already when you get it below 13ms, it should be a 2nd gen....

Re: VDAT MIDI CC control anybody? how?

as written: I only assigned the CCs to VRC-S, all the others are deaf to right-clicks. ;) O.k., so VRC-S allows "right-click" MIDI CC assignment and the other VDAT related devices don´t. Didn´t know this,- thx. But if the Midi input of VRC-S is intended for MTC, then it should comply with the Alesi...

Re: VDAT MIDI CC control anybody? how?

the VRC-S, which has midi input ... what kind of midi data it expects ... . IIRC, it´s for MTC (Midi Time Code) sequencer synchronization. You can send/receive MTC to/ from SCOPE MIDI destination/source. It´s about positioning and time display I think. In addition, ASIO2 sync works via "clk" (Clock...

Re: Best mobo and cpu combo

Update, now that i take out the Scope/sp out of the system the message didn't appear! Now this system compiled with 2 Luna cards and one Pulsar 2 card, why this 15 DSP card causing so much trouble? All my new build around this Asus Motherboard was to have 3 PCI slots before i was working with a z39...

Ok just made a fresh install of win10 on Nvme hdd ...
You obviously didn´t understand my post correctly.
It´s not matter of "NvMe",- it´s matter of M.2 ...
And,- a SSD is NOT a HDD !

So, is your SSD one w/ SATA-3 conector, or do you use a M.2 ???

Out of those 2 I like the cool_faxi_pad_1.dev. That's something I could work with / explore ! thanks Faxi. @DawMan, if you could hook me up with the OBX patch I would be eternally greatful !! (especially if it contained no 3rd party modules). Is there a oberheimish sounding filter (12dB state varia...

Re: Back on Scope

Scope 7 ... . The main application runs in 32bit regardless if you run 32bit or 64bit systems. Does that mean, WHEN running SCOPE 7 standalone on a separate machine, installing the 64Bit version makes no sense as long there´s no 3rd party DAW connected via ASIO and big sample libraries streaming fr...

Re: Best mobo and cpu combo

2 - Can it be possible that Nvme ssd take a high PCI bandwidth? and this is why i get this message? Yes, it´s POSSIBLE but doesn´t happen on every system. WHEN you have the OS installed on p.ex. a NvME M.2 SSD, it might act as a PCIe bus hog because there´s traffic always. A OS is a busy applicatio...

what is the advantage using cubase compared to studio one, samplitude ... Is it more stable ? More features ? I don´t use Cubase since I wasn´t able upgrading from SX anymore, just because I didn´t when Steini thought I should and I decided to do later. Same happened to me w/ Wavelab 4 ... They rea...

Re: Scope 7 Bug List

Well, even though I have delayed the upgrade as long as possible, Windows 7 (which I am currently running) will stop being supported by Microsoft in 2020. I guess that software developers, including all major DAW etc. will stop supporting windows 7 as well. So I/we have to upgrade to windows 10, si...

yes, it is. it's annoying, but easy to work around. use inserts or a multifx module.
Or don´t use Win10 up to now ...

Is there any application needing Win10 urgently I´m not aware of ?

I see Cubendo, Studio One, Reaper, Reason, Samp all working w/ Win 7 still ...

No ?

no
I´m happy to read that.

Holger is busy coding SCOPE 7.1, probably w/ very small amount of manpower,- and now S|C users think about helping MPA increasing range of devices by using SDK 5 or 7 they bought from S|C.
Very sad IMO.

:o SDK! Does Frank have a cooperation with sonic core? I mean, for me, it is a great idea to use it in a new Hardware. Keep it alive!
quote: " requires a 6 or 14/15 DSP SCOPE or Pulsar card from CreamWare"

I guess they mean SDK v4 and not SDK versions being coded by S|C (v5 / v7).
