Method of viewing waveforms

Hi Development community, I've just got the activation key foe SDK. It's been bloody ages but now... What is the best way to view waveforms within the SDK. I have a "real" CRO but not sure if I connect intermediate signals to Audio out is there any loss? Will I see supersonic components? A...

Let's Edit from Canopus. It's fairly cheap (UKP65)

Re: CC value "smoother"

It could be that something like this exists, but my research has turned up nothing. In a perfect world, there would be a "cc value smoother" module .. Example: Say I am sending values for CC7. I route MIDI through this module to a synth. I send a value of "100" .. the module rec...

SDK Please..

I just spoke to Ralf at S|C. Neither SDK that he sent to me by post has arrived here in Australia yet :( I have been waiting over a month now. He suggested posting here to see if there is anyone in Australia or NZ that would be able to send me the CD or a copy. I will pay for/organinse a courier or ...

Re: Monitor display pixel resolutions and screen sizes.......

Indeed, 16:9 for 1920 is 1920x1080 (1080p for hdtv enthusiasta but that actually has a different pixel ratio still when displayed on a 'pc'). and 16:10 is 1920x1200, hence the extra 'start menu' area. 16:10 is actually quite a good resolution for timeline based applications like your sequencer/DAW,...

Re: Monitor display pixel resolutions and screen sizes.......

No-one mentioned form factor here. Diagonal size does not take into account the "shape" of the screen. The trend is 16x9 but I used a 5x4 1240x1028 with SFP at the top and Cubase at the bottom until recently. I just changed to a 20" 16x9 because of the space constraints, it sits insid...

Re: Phase Shifting Enhancement

Any chance of an MP3? I wanted to do something similar by taking the beat frequency between 2 osc's and using it as LFO for a filter or evnelope trigger. I'm not familiar with these plugs but it sounds like you need to get the low frequency component from the SSB and use it as an LFO for the bandwid...

OK Mark, thanks.
I'll just have to wait - again.
Is anyone going to make a modular module from it? Or is that my first task with SDK? :)

Re: Get rid of all the old drivers.

Good idea. It should reduce the size of the system hive. I had a machine once, that upon adding a new hard drive, blue screened. The system hive had grown beyond the maximum size allowed for. I had to do some tricky stuff to get around it (Win2K). I think they fixed this in XP but it takes ages to s...

Re: New MVC module with note off velocity

Between your SDK & Scope dsp folders, you should have these dsp files. All you should have to do is check which files each dsp folder contains that the other is missing & copy the relevant files either way. If for some reason you don't have the files at all, then I'll put all the required f...

Do you have this please? Maybe any other DSP files you think it needs please.

Re: Does anyone build electronic kits or modify stuff?

Just a side note. I'm working at it from a different angle, by modifying an existing D/A to do DC output. Conceptually, it involves removing blocking caps from an existing converter, and putting a servo op amp after that. If all goes well, it'll be able to be multiplexed, meaning multiple analog ou...

Re: the Sdk v4.5 is not Working with Scope 5

I've solved this problem with using 2 separate computers. That's the best solution at the moment & it's a good solution for Scope sdk users in any case. 2 computers networked - one running sdk & one running Scope. :) "2 computers networked - one running sdk & one running Scope.&quo...

Re: Does anyone build electronic kits or modify stuff?

no its not frequency to voltage thats too much hassle, its just AM. the frequency "carries" the DC envelope past the blocking capacitors. think of the normal output of a synth that only plays a high note (for envelope speed) then rectified.(in scope) all it needs is a precision rectifier ...

Re: Does anyone build electronic kits or modify stuff?

no that experimental interface was a bit much for what you get, it needed 8 lines of audio I/O just for 1 controller, it seemed a bit of a waste. To avoid that it would have to have all the electronics built in, and i would rather spend the time and effort on some of my other unfinished projects. T...

Re: the Sdk v4.5 is not Working with Scope 5

Even though I don't have SDK yet (it's lost in postal system somewhere between Germany and Australia :( ), I am ready and have two platforms on same computer. I cloned the C drive to another disk and then cloned it again to the same disk in a different location. I tweaked the Partition Record (secto...
