If the RME interface has built-in MIDI ports you could use these. If not you could send MIDI over ethernet via CopperLan for example. You can download it here: http://copperlan.org/index.php/download yes! stupid me lol connect the midi out of rme interface into midi in of scope.. working great, tha...

Re: Connecting project card with rme babyface
Thanks for pointing that out which i missed. S/pdif should be good as well as i wont need more than 2 channels.borg wrote:as far as I can tell, that lyra does not have adat, only s/pdif, which means that instead of 8, you only get 2 channels of communication between the interface and scope.

Re: Connecting project card with rme babyface
If could work with adat that would be great :) Also decided now instead of babyface going with a prism lyra1. Ive never used adat before so if im not mistaken, after hooking up the adat i would just need under sample rate settings change it to slave, and be able to run spf alongside the new soundcar...

Re: Connecting project card with rme babyface
Sequencer doesn't support multi asio at once so maybe I will pass on using babyface with scope since i dont want to loose spf. Other option not practical and too much sacrifice in XTC... Thank you

Re: scope limiter question
limiters don't belong on reference monitors. neither do super high listening levels... yes but u know those occasional pops and once in a while might stupidly have volume turned all way up. Dunno just was thinking to stay on the safe side. so theres no specific limiter that would b good for this in...

Re: midi stability over usb
I tend to agree, I have the Steinberg MIDEX 8 and it always lets me down on Sysex. If I need Sysex comms to an out-of-the-box device, better to use real Pulsar MIDI port. Secondly, when I got my Behringer BCR2000 I found it easier to connect directly into Scope project via Luna MIDI ports - there d...
