Re: Strymon Pedals w/ MIDI

Heres the scoop. I’m running these as Mixer AUX channels, not instruments, so +4 for my needs. Master FX Module/ZLink-A16 Out > Strymon Stereo inputs > Strymon Stereo outputs > A16 inputs/ZLINK Master FX Module. I assume you are referring to the Ext effects modules in Scope tools menu? Those are re...

Re: Strymon Pedals w/ MIDI

Don’t need the money anymore. It’s just insulting to think 975 a week was I made there in 1986-1991 just doing a lounge gig. These cheap bastards squeeze the quarter until the Eagle screams. But new toys keeps me occupied and I’m with my family. One door closes and another one opens. Th Lesli...

Re: Strymon Pedals w/ MIDI

How's the rotary on the Mobius compared to Ventilator or Lestor?

No money in Reno. California is sucking the life out of everyone around there.
Move to the islands. Lots of vacation babes, lots of money, lots of live music. Too many Raegay bands :D

Thanks for the correction, I'll edit the post ASAP.
Honestly bubba, no offense but why don't you just delete the entire post. Most of us on this forum have been here long enough to remember what actually went down so you can skip the history lesson please.
Welcome to the forum btw 8)

Looks and sounds really great. I'm in! Might be time to start looking at one of those ES-3's or similar too.

Re: Roland's new Keytar the AX-EDGE, WOW. Impressive!

Well the sounds are sure nice! Just like the old one. And having great internal sounds is certainly a plus. Priced a little too steep imho. I have the Alesis Vortex wireless II. Yes it's a nice toy. Is the new Roland wireless? The latency of the wireless Vortex II does not seem too noticeable to me ...

Re: Live Project

Actually the G stands for Guitar, the impedance is for guitar. K is for keyboard, like the Hammond XK5 so the impedance is set for higher line level. I love rotary Pedals, put that sucker on any synth and have fun. I’m running my CODE 8 into a mono input Strymon DECO, into a feedback loop insert of...

Re: Live Project

LesterK is really good, but has no ramp. I’m just a Whiney bitch because I used the real stuff. Guitarist I gig with in a Jazz Group uses a Ventilator and it sounds good, but the usual excessive FX from other Pedals weakens it’s doppler effect. Guy has a 1961 ES 335 that looks just like Alvin Lee’s...

Re: Live Project

Well that S7 might just be my next piano, really nicely designed and decently priced too. (S9 is even nicer too :D )
Thanks Jimmy for sharing your gear list. I know that if you've given something a thumbs up then it's been tried true and tested.

That´s still a normal connector.
Yeah disregard, the pic I was looking at made it look sort of like the old mini firewire connection so I guess that is just a normal USB connection.
Fantastic sounds on that!

No problem roy. I think I do have the latest, I'll check it again though. I like the improvements, it is much easier to read than the original version so thanks for working on this

Re: Live Project

Damn! You're like the Dark Knight of the gigging world. So I guess Lester was no match for Neo? I've got Lester-G. It's ok, had to really back off on the output level from the A16U. Didn't really consider the line/instr type of connections. Cheap organ rates a cheap pedal I guess. The Dexibell looks...

There's lots for sale on ebay. Def take your chances if you buy one on there but the iPads seem so durable that it would be hard to really mess one up.

Re: Apple iPad

That's good to know. I'd have to install a PCIe for USB 3.0. Dante is definitely the way of the future but I've setup for ADAT into Scope ASIO and not going to abandon that for quite some time. When the time comes I will probably get something like the iConnectAudio and send the audio to the ADAT co...
