Re: Synth died from the heat

I can tell from your studio pics you are very thorough! I'd love to have a few more vintage synths in my arsenal but really can't risk buying any since I've no repair skills and no services within driving distance. Of course i'm sure if i paid top dollar at ARMENS I prob wouldn't need to worry about...

Re: Bells

Well they were great for a hack like me, I probably should watch those again to refresh.
A quick look at Poison and i think that one may work out. Never really paid much attention to that little synth! Thanks for the tips valis!

Re: Bells

Thanks! I've tried some of those mentioned but didn't find a whole lot of presets. The OS Cyan Bell is nice but it is monphonic, looking for some poly. I'm specifically looking for a nice bell patch that blends nicely with piano. Might have to make my own preset - what was that ADSR setting that Ass...

Re: Synth died from the heat

You should have stayed in TN Jimmy. It's been in the 80's all week long.....won't last though I have a feeling what's out west will eventually move this way soon. Fan under the Xite with the pwr supply right on top of the fan. Not needed? - maybe, but long term maybe buy me a few years. I also...

Optimus is one of my favorite devices in Scope. All of Ray's devices are top notch, we are lucky to have him here.
Can't wait to see what he has next cooking in the shop!

Re: mute groups in DynamicMixer

Not sure, haven't dug into the manual in some time, probably learned it from a post like this a long time ago. STM mixers work this way as well. Lots of little hidden gems like this in Scope

Re: mute groups in DynamicMixer

There are two blocks under the faders with dashes in them.(mute/fader) left click and hold, then drag up. Assign the same number to the channels you want in each group.

Re: CMS-1

I was planning to make the cross-hairs snap to the grid rather than be free-form and also try to find a way that the relevant labels are highlighted somehow. Not totally trivial though, so I'll need to give it some thought! The snap would be great to have. The popups for the top horizontal row are ...

Re: CMS-1

Hi Will/Roy I successfully used the CMS-1 VST in Reaper with automation. Works as advertised. I like that both UI's stay synced now which I guess means the snapshot feature is sort of obsolete now maybe? Having trouble reading the top line of parameters on the matrix but I don't see anyway around th...

Turns out there actually are some without the braille. Maybe you could exchange yours if it bothers you that much.
