Personally, I would like Sonic Core to fix the current ASB's before they even THINK about recreating any other synths.
But, in saying that, an ARP2600 would be great... Oh, oh, oh... and a Korg Micro Preset (KIDDING!)

Re: Prodyssey Fix Soon???
Well....I have already had to have a talk with the plugiator people on behalf of 2 of the plugins........ there is 1 prodyssey glitch with the envelope skipping 2 notes out of 10 if the decay rate and release rate is close or equal to the time a repeated note is played..... Yup, I can replicate all...

Re: Prodyssey Fix Soon???
How do you find the Pro 12 ???... It sounds a little noisy compared to the prody and max... Drums and bass has gotta go... need a new plug.... wishfully...a CS80, Obx , mellotron or a paraphonic synth Definitely a bit of aliasing going on with the Pro-12. I didn't bother with Drums & Bass or Fm...

Re: Prodyssey Fix Soon???
Mine arrived yesterday... Immediately installed the Prodyssey and Pro-12 plugins... Still a few problems here and there, but overall I'm very happy with it.slammah2012 wrote:

Re: Use Audio - Plugiator announcement
I'm keeping my fingers crossed here... but any chance of an AU version for Logic, not everyone with a Mac runs Cubaseray.useaudio wrote: PS. First release is PC only, Mac version is currently under development.
Actually... hold that thought - just found a VST to AU wrapper fromFXpansion - wonder if it'll work?

Re: Prodyssey Fix Soon???
OK, I've really gone and done it now... Just ordered a Plugiator :o I hope I'm doing the right thing, over the years I've had various Scope systems... had to give up my Power Sampler and Luna cards (Modular III) when support for the Mac dried up... went over to ASB's with all the bugs etc. I was qui...

Re: Prodyssey Fix Soon???
All the people I know who had ASB sold it... I keep looking at my Prodyssey and wonder if I should sell it or not... Knowing my luck, they'll come up with a fix the day I sell it - but then again it's been over a year since the last update. I'd probably be better off paying for an second hand ARP O...

Re: Prodyssey Fix Soon???
you've forgot the dual voice mode fix! Ah, yes the dual voice mode! I know it's nice having 12 note poly, but emulating the 2 voice mode would be great :) I'm just wondering if the Plugiator Prodyssey plug-in has exactly the same CC's as the ASB - can't see why not... Get a Plugiator with the fix, ...

Re: Prodyssey Fix Soon???
I've just written to Sonic Core support, begging them to work with Use Audio to provide the same fix for the ASB/Klangbox etc. After all the DSP engine used in each of them is basically the same, and there is no reason at all why Use Audio's fix won't work with the ASB etc... It just takes a tiny bi...

Prodyssey Fix Soon???
I've just noticed the following on the Plugiator forum... Hi Everyone, This is Ray from Use Audio and I would like to take the opportunity to provide you with some information about the current developments and updates on the Plugiator. 1) ARP - Revamped modulation, sync and small emulation nuances ...

Ah, yes, the fake ARP thingy!
That's a project that I started work on last year... never quite got round to finishing off the cosmetics

Another Prodyssey Controller
Hi Guys, I've recently been commissioned by Dave Formula of Magazine/Visage to build a controller for his Proddy ASB (Magazine have reformed for a couple of gigs here in the UK, and unfortunately Dave couldn't risk taking his Mk1 Oddy on the road). Lucky for me that a mutual friend of ours spotted o...

12v Power Supplies
Hi All,
Does anybody know if it's safe to use a 12v switched mode PSU with the Prodyssey.
The manual states that the PSU can be either AC or DC... It's just that I'm fed up with the supplied Euro-Plug PSU.
Andy.

What do others think? At the moment I have the ASB hardware controlling a Nord G2X engine to get the Odyssey sound I want. I would be alot happier if I could free up the Nord and have the ASB working as it should and would be worth a hundred pounds or so IMHO. Or am I just a Dreamer? I've decided t...

I don't want to hi-jack my own thread, but... The panels are Dye-Sublimated - You print the design back to front using dye-sub ink cartridges (on an Epson D88 inkjet) and transfer the print via a heat press at 200 C onto a polyester coated aluminium panel. It's an easy process but the panels are hig...

Prodyssey Editor + Mac Pro + Leopard 10.5.2
Oh dear... I finally caved in and dusted down my Prodyssey a few days ago (it's been stuck in my wardrobe for the past 6 months or so - replaced by a Nord G2, and recently an Alesis Ion, which by the way is stunningly good). The first thing I tried to do was to download the User Bank, but the Preset...

XITE - ED!!!
A bit off topic for the ASB forum, but what the hell... Great news... Just received this email from Sonic Core - At last they've got round to realizing that there are Mac's out there - I can finally get to use all my old Scope Fusion Plug-ins! ... you'll find it's a powerpc binary, meaning it won't work on a macintel. The ASB Editors are not universal binaries, but work fine on Macs with Intel CPU's - I've been running the Prodyssey Editor (PPC) on a Mac Pro (under Rosetta) for the past 6 months without problems (apart from the bugs in t...
