Re: Congratulations to Sonic Core

Besides cheering up the challenger there is the sound. Every time I do synths with my Xite I am so impressed by the sound. Kinda like analog type fat sound that I still cannot get from anywhere else. How can a digital system do it?

Keep on rocking Holger, Gary and the team.

Re: Upgrading

Also I've got Moduler IV, Adern Flexor and other stuff bought. Do they work with my V7?

Upgrading

The introduction offer is cheap as it is but just to make sure: to upgrade from previous version do I need to purchase the Scope V7 the normal way?

edit: Thanks a ton for the new version! My Xite has a lot of mileage ahead.

Xeon = good?

I've searched and searched and it seems that real-time performance with audio applications is not necessarily depending on how high end CPU I have. Majority of people say that the number of cores or CPUs may even reduce realtime performance due to increased workload in balancing between cores / CPUs...

Mastering

Do you have any resources on learning mastering different genres?

I am doing a dance piece and boy is mastering EDM a whole another topic compared to hybrid / symphonic stuff!

Windows 10 fresh install

This morning my Windows 7 told me my oldish PCI hard drive is failing. This seems a perfect time to do an overhaul of my mobo / cpu / hd / OS. I've read people have some success here with Windows 10 + XITE. Did anyone of you do a fresh install or just an upgrade? Do you have any words of wisdom for ...

Thanks for the patches as well! The wonderful monster Modular requires some detailed designing to get real power out of it and ready made patches help a lot.

Scope is magic

Just gotta let some positive steam out..! I just finished a rather unusual song: a gospel house track with aggressive sounds. The song is a kind of praise song in it's way but after hearing the finished result I also have to praise my Xite. I don't know what's inside that thing but whatever Xite sou...

My remix competition entry

Hi fellow Scope people. I seem to have fallen a bit for house genre and I got exited enough to try and measure my talent in a remix competition arranged by Sourz, which i believe is a drink brand (ironically hardly drink alcohol but who cares :) ). I've put my Xite really to work with this one and I...

Re: Using silentway with modular through hardware

my setup has gronw a bit complex and i cannot use asio for this. encoding the data into hardware line input/output would be a way to carry a way signal to modular but still not sure if it works like that or not. i tried looking the other thread you guys showed but it did not open up well to me. my a...

Re: Using silentway with modular through hardware

my competence is not enough to talk much about the subject until i dig deeper. my intention would be to use silentway + sc modular without asio (and i was thinking if the silentway modules could translate cv:s into audio signal and back).
