I have the exact same issue as babaorum has, but with Wavelab 7. Also on Win 7 64bit, with the Scope 5.1 64bit drivers. Over the Xmas period I've communicated a lot with Steinberg on this, worked through all their suggestions with no luck. Then hit the Steinberg support forum and saw babaorum's mess...

Just use the physical midi-ports on your card to connect to a port on the AMT.

I do the same with the Steinberg Midex-8, and it works fantastic. A major improvement compared to when you go through the OS.
