Re: Scope 7 Bug List

I'm still testing my setup---Win10/64, Cubase10, SonicCore 7. Using the BCR2000 to control this mix in real time and recording the cc's into Cubase. I found the 4896 great during the session better response than ever before...unfortunately the 4896 still doesn't remember all the cc assigns as it sho...

Re: Security & Privacy with technology in 2018 and beyond

Amazing Polly does some very good analysis / research. She says she's a "refugee" from my province (Quebec) which she (and her family) left after Bill 101 in '77 (a bill forcing residents to be educated and work in French...exclusively). To which I say no problem...nobody has EVER died from knowing ...

Re: Security & Privacy with technology in 2018 and beyond

I recently moved over to Win10 and have been thinking about these issues more lately. Don't know how much of an attention seeker Vohies is, but I respect Helen of Destroy. She usually gets to the bottom of things quickly. Info in this interview is disturbing to say the least. Social engineering or "...

no, v7 uses v5 keys for optional devices.

be sure you have 64bit files. be sure that you don't mix up PCI and XITE files.
you could also install v7 on top of an old v5 installation that has all the correct files in place.
Thanks g. Ran out of time and patience for today. Back at it tomorrow.

Re: Some Keys not working

If you have a backup of an old installation, you can "just" copy the "keyfile" (in SCOPE\APP\BIN) from the backup and put it at the same place (copy over the installed keyfile). If I remember correctly, you are now ready to install without the need for keys, because they are already there :) I do h...

are you sure that you are using post v5 keys?

they don't go bad. this is a support issue.
Do you mean there are new keys for app version 7? This is a fresh install of 7.

Re: Some Keys not working

...and now the ghost Dynomic and Saw are giving errors...can't find file xxxx. But the files are there and in the correct folder. I really dislike setting up a new system! Sorry if I'm sounding frustrated. I haven't done this for years and feel like I'm forgetting something or maybe the install file...

Some Keys not working

I should take this up with support directly but thought I'd ask here first. I'm in the middle of the rather long process of installing on a new system and some keys are not working . I get stuck in an endless loop of "invalid key" messages. This is happening with some of the Zarg (John Bowen) synths...

Bridging 32 to 64 vst?

Does anyone use anything like Jbridge or similar to use 32 bit plugs in 64bit environment? I only use Melodyne on rare occasions and would rather not re invest.

Rudy MIlls - Lonely

This was recorded 18 years ago on a Tripledat system and the files have migrated with me across every iteration of software associated with PZ (Tdat/creamware/sonic Core) with a few additions along the way. The label that released it has given me NO credit, but it was all recorded by me (and much of...

Nice work. Is that s & h or velocity switch or… that makes notes move from string to double reed sound? I like that. It makes me want to try modular again. I know so little. The platform is vast and I stay in my corner .

Real Riddim

Hi PZ peeps.

I'm finally back in the studio and lucky to be recording real drums...a real drummer. It's just easier that way. Two takes and done.

All recorded, mixed and mastered with Xite 1 of course.

It was a hyphen in the space. Same thing happens with or without the hyphen. This exception fault is a new problem. Yes, a new windows installation is coming. Thanks for the feedback JoPo.

Re: Scope 7 Bug List

Same test using the midi folder properly(?) results in exception fault. Maybe the .pre file is corrupt? The device file? Don't know.
