I must always switch on Xite before I start the PC, otherwise the connection is not made (Xite not found) and I would need to reboot PC for it to see the Xite. It may not be the fault of HDMI but I suppose an HDMI switch might induce the same type of issue (eg. connection not found).

I used Arturia's piano v3 (the "Piano Bar Upright" piano) + compressed and equalized heavily, ... but the final secret touch is an amp sim from Guitar Rig (the "Twang Reverb" amp from guitar rig v5 that i still use). The final amp is what gives this sound. Without it it was still too clean ...

yes, much better :-) i hear the bass well on the two tracks you recently mentionned. I guess it is also a difference of style from my part (i tend to boost it a lot these days, looking for proeminent 50/100 Hz).

This one was made around 2005 for the band La Caïna (typical live band from brittany) and the remix was played before each of the live shows for a couple of years, but it was never available. I decided to clean it up a bit, remix and remaster.

about 'commercial music". In fact it is more a challenge of mixing and mastering and try to get pro results as a hobby :-)
I released on distrokid / spotify and stuff mainly to be "shazamable".... but I recently abandonned any hope of going "commercial" and make a dime ...
