BluRay Audio
What do you think about it? 192 khz from the first AD, over Dyn./EQ/mixing/analog mixing until finaly listening on a bluray player ... which could be the player for all (video and audio) in the living rooms. it could be an alternative format with common players. is dsd much better than blurayaudio? ...

THANK YOU shroomz
This thing rocks!
The SOUND and the gui
I like the red bypass button- better to distinguish (than the standard-brightblue)

Re: Choosing samplerates
to astromen
I never heard that hq signal generator-thing.
and overtones are also reproduced with a few samples...
I think the technic outwit the ears
I am amazed.

Re: Choosing samplerates
for me it is a miracle how the human ears tell us a 10 khz frequency sounds nice -
only digitaly reproduced by 4,41 samples at 44khz
that is very far away from a analog (sinus-) wave...
the "miracle" scope for me sounds very well at every samplerate.

Re: wave/media player
thank you !
I think direct sound is the same as wave source/dest !?
This is more worse sounding than asio...
And the trick with vdat-renaming-tracks is nice. Ill try that.
complicated - but thats an possibility.

Re: wave/media player
thanks!
but this player is to complicated. No need for attack/sustain etc. ... It need a midi signal to play.
and vdat dont work yet in v5.
and vdat play only files recordet by vdat - isnt it?

wave/media player
do we have somthing? Is it possible to make a .wav-player to play some audio-wave-files directly from scope? Not through that sound-stealing "asio-thing". And not so difficult to handle like the sts-player. wmp/foobar for scope? With sound like vdat/sts5000? To master something or only pla...

Re: Improved as "AUDIO QUALITY" with the new ver. 5 ?
my p22`s say :
yes definitely
the fog is gone...
also the new ...09-version has more kickin bass and deeper clearer 3d,
especially in the highs...
and all the "old" plugs do benefit from this dsp optimization
realy fun
v5 is worth every euro

do somebody use/need/work with 32 khz sr. ?
I dont use it.
Why is it also in the samplerate setting in v5 ???
I would prefer a 192 khz button instead of 32. Only to make big software operations like noise- and scratch-reduction.
44.1 khz with the sound of scope5 is absolutely enough gooood sounding!
