Re: Pro 12 ASB Glide Rate
They fixed it in a patch shortly after the reviews. The glide is quite long now. search in the forum for my review and warnings about patches being lost.

Re: 12v Power Supplies
Hi Andy, I have the Pro-12 and Prodyssey ASB's and they were a right pain with the Euro Wobble. So I went to ebay.de and bought a 4 way Euro trailing socket for about a fiver. I then put on a British Plug (so I can plug into a UK trailer) on the end and I now can plug Euro stuff properly into a spec...

Hi B3keys and welcome to teh pack. The PRO-12 ASB is a great instrument. As for Vista I really do not know as I am still using Xtra Pants (XP). However be assured that that the PRO-12 does store user patches without the software and it can sound a lot better than the patches supplied. Just make sure...

... I was asking if the Prodyssey sound had been fixed for the Solaris. Ummm, there is no claim of an emulation of the Prodyssey (or ARP Odysssey for that matter :) ) . Sorry John. I did not do my research and just assumed that it contained a Prodyssey emul. I should really read up before making su...

Have those sound bugs been solved in Solaris and Plugiator? Err, excuse me, what 'sound bugs' are you talking about in Solaris? john b. Hi John The comment was not aimed at any detriment to the Solaris (which I understand is a stonking machine), I was asking if the Prodyssey sound had been fixed fo...

Lets hope SonicCore will fix this bugs, a friend of mine got the plugiator and those have the bugs fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For a lousy 366 p/unit with 4 synths in it.... i even thought about buying a plugiator as a sound-source for my asb's. So does the Plugiator have the sync/ring m...

What do others think? At the moment I have the ASB hardware controlling a Nord G2X engine to get the Odyssey sound I want. I would be alot happier if I could free up the Nord and have the ASB working as it should and would be worth a hundred pounds or so IMHO. Or am I just a Dreamer? I've decided t...

Just as an update. I just got a reply from Ralf. It is not promising but at least it is an honest update/response for which I am grateful. Hello Tony, i talked with the developers about the expected efford to fix this bugs. This would be a lot of work and currently we don't have the recources to tak...

He must be cleaning out his e-mail inbox. I got an answer today to my recently instated every-Monday e-mail to Sonic-core. It was Ralf pointing me to the link for the Minimax OS ver. 2.00, and asking if I'd installed it yet. I responded saying that I had done a year ago when I first got the ...

Prodyssey - As long as you do not expect it to sound like an ARP Odyssey you will be fine. Soniccore are not responding to support issues on this ASB so I would advise to be careful and listen to it before purchasing. Is there anywhere online that has a comparison of the Prodyssey's sounds with a r...

Also got the newest firmware sorted. Gave me the creeps when I got error after updating from a leopard Intel Mac. Re-upgraded with a PC using winXP and it's all sorted now. It sounds very very good! Already thinking out adding a Prodyssey. Prodyssey - As long as you do not expect it to sound ...

Good luck. It is highly likely they are just going to point you to the latest firmware. Ralf has totally ignored my last three emails chasing up his response as to letting me know what the developers said. Bad manners indeed! The last email I even offered to pay for new chips to get my prodyssey wor...

perhaps some of these bugs are beyond Firmware updates and in that case would require some down time...... keep trying them......they still sound quite interested with continuing the line.....we even discussed the CS80 ASB... Hey, if it takes more than a firmware upgrade, that's fine. I've said bef...

So I ended up using MIDI for cubase control and USB for the editor control (same with my prodyssey). Meant I had a series of USB hubs. How do you do that? In the editor software, I assign my Saffire Pro 12 audio interface as the midi device, which enables Cubase to interact with the Pro-12. If I ch...

Re: got a reply
But ASB=Soniccore and Plugiator=UseAudio. If they will fix third party OS/SW but not the CW/Soniccore ASBs, than they better file for surseance right away then, in my eyes the company has not a right to succeed with this behaviour. I will never ever buy a Soniccore product before the ASBs are fixed...

We have waited along time. The PRO12 has been out for years and the Prodyssey has also been out a while now. I really cannot see it happening and am really VERY annoyed my emails are ignored and I don't even get a reply to say sorry no go away! :x Not exactly good manners IMHO. I am well aware I am ...

All depeds on your midi interface. I initially used a EWS88 and it also locked each other out. So I ended up using MIDI for cubase control and USB for the editor control (same with my prodyssey). Meant I had a series of USB hubs. You can also use the Cubase Panels to write your own editor that works...

Hi! I,m pleased with the mmax,my plan was to buy more of this boxes,The pro 12 or the Prodyssey(but not if I find annoying bugs with the minimax) Kjell be carefull if you are considering buying more ASB's. I emailed Soniccore in regards to the various Prodyssey bugs and was told by Ralf that he wou...
