Re: SpaceF Ambient Delay

Looking forward to this. Your delays are some of the best. Echo 3 is still one of the top delays available.

Always good to see new space f devices.

I actually hate the look (if you take the meaning in a literal way). The GUI really put me off. I assume you meant looks as in specs though. :D

I think you're talking about something else. This plug-in only came out this year.

Re: Anyone on PolyM from Xils?

I tried it. For some reason I didn't get on with it and even at the introductory price thought i was a bit expensive. As a Gary Numan fan this should have been a no-brainer, although he mostly used the Vox Humana off of the Polymoog Keyboard. The Vox Humana on the sample-based Synth Magic Kontakt in...

Re: Roland & Studio Electronics new boutique analog synth

Oddly enough the D-05 is the only Boutique that interests me. The others are too small for the controls they contain, whereas this isn't going to be programmed from the panel anyway so can be treated as a sound module. Always fancied a D-50 (had a D-10 briefly - it was shit. Preferred the MT-32 my b...

The Synclavier one interests me, the analogue ones, not so much.

I don't think you convinced many of us last time :D , but if it inspires you then its right to exist is already made.

Re: Roland & Studio Electronics new boutique analog synth

If it was the size that it's appearing on my monitor it would be half-decent. Weird to think that it's actually smaller than the photo I'm looking at.

My MC-202 seems big compared to the SH-101 Boutique they're coming out with too.

Is the front mic panel on XITE removable?

Hi guys, I used a cheap 1/4" adapter in the front inputs and when I pulled it out the tip came off and is stuck in the XITE's socket (yeah, lesson learnt, don't use cheap-shit jack plugs). Anyway, as this front left-hand has its own Allen key-screwed separate section I was wondering if I could ...

Re: Sonic Core Soundcloud

Someone's been busy. :D I would question a couple of things: Vectron and Lightwave described as virtual analogue - I think virtual wavetable might be a better description. Including the STS range is perhaps a little misleading as I doubt many are keeping 32-bit systems going these days. Other than t...

Make it slightly bigger, put 1/4" jack sockets on and I'll look again.

Re: Arturia V5 Collection

Whilst I'm happy you're happy, apart from the Synclavier I have to say none of their other instruments really excite me. I really found their emulations to be somewhat lacklustre. Maybe they've improved since I last tried, I hear the SEM is pretty good, but the others always seemed a bit 'meh' to me.

Re: Does anybody use midiquest editor and Midi hardware with

Tried Midiquest numerous times and nearly always failed. I think there's a thread on Gearslutz where I raised my issues and they responded. Turns out it doesn't work so well with many MIDI patch bays, which makes it completely useless for my needs as I'm not going to directly connect a MIDI cable to...
