Re: Max Lullaby
"Lullaby"? Doesn't exactly meet my idea of a lullaby.
Pretty cool little tune, though! All Minimax including perc?

I'd think Sonic-core would be more motivated than ever to fix ASB bugs, now that you can get a second-hand Moog LP for the same price as a Minimax (granted the LP is mono but it's also real analog, and the polyphony frequently doesn't work right on the Minimax anyhow), and there's the new Prophet '...

I also have the minimoog voyager, and I bought the minimax for several reasons. The fact it is polyphonic and its more portable than the voyager was some of the reasons. I,m also looking foreward to compare the monophonic sound difference between them. Kjell Klell - A few months ago, a buddy and I d...

Make sure you download the latest version of software from ftp://sonic-core.net/software//ASB-Boxes/MINIMAX . Good advice, but Minimax users should be aware that the file posted at SonicCore's FTP site is version 2.2, which was released by Creamware in September, 2006. It looks like all SonicCore d...

Hi Radar, What is the part number (or description) of these caps from Mouser? - Greg mousers parts 10TB001 to 10TB006 (red, black, white, blue, Green). :) Thanks! It looks like you can buy them singly for 0.17 each (0.15 each for a quantity of 50). Did you need to make a minimum buy, and is that th...

Andy, Your '2600' sure is pretty! How did you get the panel legends to look like that? Agree with your comment about the Ion. Too bad Alesis didn't pursue it further - an upscale Ion in a larger cabinet with more voices, a larger kybd (76 notes) and a tilted display (for improved viewing) would be t...

Re: Polyphony
Also, there doesn't seem to be any Mac support at present. The supplied software is PC only. :( Got an email response from Use Audio about this. For anyone interested: "Thank you for your interest in the Plugiator. We expect to have the Mac version ready during the first week of April. Kind re...

Polyphony
According to the User Manual, the polyphony for the Plugiator and ASX is: Minimax - 10 voices B4000 - 91 voices (full) Lightwave - 12 voices Vocodizer - 6 voices Prodyssey - 10 voices Pro12 - 12 voices Seems odd that the Minimax and Prodyssey only produce 10 voices while the Lightwave and Pro12 prod...

News of it here: http://www.use-audio.com/plugiator.htm Seems very cheap! Lets hope they have fixed the Sync/Ring mod issues of the Prodyssey so they can get to that distintive sound! Thanks, Le Bone! Ah yes, the long-awaited ASX board in a stand alone configuration. I've always wondered why the AS...

Re: Plagiator
Would be nice to know about the Plugiator · number of voices · multitimbrality · how many models can be stored in the machine · how many models can be played simultanously · bug-fixes compared to ASB · improved sound qualtiy ("sync" on Pro-12/Prodyssey, "ring mod" on Prodyssey) ...

Hi alower. :) I'm not a Klangbox owner, but I see here that the software is 3.3 now. Probably someone will answer more specifically than me here too, but mail also the SonicCore support ...well, not the best days, but anyway.... Ciao. V3.3 is over a year old, but it would be valuable for anyone run...

How about if it was built like the system 1200... or a system 3000? http://www.sequencer.de/pix/creamware/creamware_system3000.jpg ;) That thing looks like a home-built construction by someone who has some wood-working skills. It's nice, but it's too bad they got cheap and used plywood for the ends...

I think that 'blank space' is actually the ribbon controller. The placement in the mock-up is a bit awkward, but a ribbon would be a most welcome performance control, especially if it accurately emulates the behavior of the CS-80 ribbon.Mr Arkadin wrote:I think that blank panel would need some filling up.
