Hi Ken,

I'm staggered that you can get such an individual bass sound out of a soft synth. Generally, the more I listen and fiddle with soft synths the less I like them. I guess I'm not a programmer. Nice one! I always like listening to your music.

Glad you like it Ken. The troupe all came on stage to this music. It was a modern ballet type of affair, with eight dancers. Mostly they were dancing to classical music but they wanted something a little more rough-edged to get the audience's attention at the beginning. I decided to keep it all on t...

Possibly in the studio several modules and one keyboard is better. My point was that a synth with its own keyboard has more integrity than a desktop module, and will stand the test of time better for that reason. Not that it matters much.

Just downloaded the latest Minimax ASB software for Mac OSX from the Creamware FTP site. It opens! It works! Thank you Creamware; you got there in the end.

The thing I like about synths that have their own keyboard is that they are self-contained. I don't want to be messing about with too many power supplies, midi cables etc. Furthermore, self-contained synths have a longer life. In 20 years time, if someone happens upon an ASB box at a junk fair (it c...

I'd like Creamware to start making the ASB boxes into fully-fledged keyboards; this would make them a lot easier to gig with.

Hi there Kensugoro. The track has a lot of energy. I'm impressed with the way you maintain the momentum with subtle shifts. Lots of good noises in there. You ought to do something with it. Did you do it on expensive keyboards or Creamware softsynths? (Or a mixture of both?) (Or is it a trade secret?).

Thanks for your comments. I might try and put some singing on it, if I can think of a tune. In terms of remixiing that is not now possible. I recorded the tune on an old computer which has now broken - I lost everything I did on it, including the cubase and audio files for Nell's tune (along with ma...

Thanks for your nice comments kensuguro. Listening to your music and other postings on this site I can see I have a long catch-up however. Apart from the scrappy playing, my posting sounds flat and brittle compared to most of the other music on this site. I wonder what I'm doing wrong...

I liked it. Kinda like Kraftwerk after they've had too much coffee. How did you make that ping-pong-ball percussion sound? I wouldn't worry about the tempo - sounds fine. Just think of the tune as what it is and move on... I read recently about a fella (can't remember who) who treats all his music l...

I liked it. Good feel in the verse and chorus but I'm not sure about the bridge (it goes on almost as long as the chorus and feels like a bit of a drop from the verse). Have you tried dropping the bridge between verse and chorus altogether and seeing how it sounds?

Keep up the good work!

Creamware have just posted a new version of the OSX remote software on their FTP site. This is version 3. Unfortunately, it does not even open in OSX Tiger 10.4.4 let alone work properly... Come on Creamware! Get it right!

yes, it is exactly the same beta version - just with a splashy link. I think the developers (actually in India) have sent through a beta version and Creamware have posted on their site without really testing it...
