Re: Problem installing XTC card/driver

Doesn't look good ...
Check if yoiur cards are recognized in your windows harware manager, uninstall scope, remove card and clean PCI connectors then reinstall.
If your cards are not recognized ... ring soniccore for an RMA

Re: Installing SDK alongside with SFP ?

Hi Thanks for your replies, For sure you cannot run both at the same time ... each being an application. It seems SFP users don't suffer the problem, so I guess there have not been investigations and the standard install have been used. I am an XTC user too and XTC stability is mandatory for me, so ...

Re: Installing SDK alongside with SFP ?

Hi Astro, Thanks for your reply mhhhh... Alongside might be confusing, sorry. I don't want to launch the SDK while I am in an SFP session, just be able to launch SDK or SFP, each one having its environnement(project, directory maybe,..), ... Prevously, once I installed the SDK in a separate director...

Re: Installing SDK alongside with SFP ?

Hi Astro, I do recall installing SDK alonside SFP (2 directories, ...) messed up SFP as some keys in the registry was redirected to the SDK. SFP then became ... clunky :-? I don't feel ashamed being on v4.5 .. its just to say that I run the SFP version compatible with SDK :) I strickly follow the ad...

Installing SDK alongside with SFP ?

Hi all,

I am on the verge to make a second attempt at installing the SDK
The first installation messed up my default SFP install and I gived up.
The question is: How to install the SDK alongside the standard SFP environment ?
I am still running SPF4.5.

Re: SCOPE 5.1

AWE switch is useless for DAW app. To be useful, it would require the HOST appli (Cubase, ...) to use the AWE library ... which is not and will not be the case because it would require them to manage the heap (the memory dynamically allocated is not released after use). Moreover, the VST instrument ...

Re: identifying scales?

Hi, In fact there is some very interesting research done on the subject. Do a search on the web with "musical feature extraction" or "signal processing techniques for music transcription". In fact the subject is a little bit more complicated then generally perceived as there is a...

Re: identifying scales?

Hi Irrelevance, Don't waste your time translating from French, not worth the effort, just keep the tonality tables. They give the scale (gamme in french), the 3 and 4 notes harmonized chords (triade and tetrade) as well as their extensions (9th, 11th 13th) for the major, minor, melodic minor and har...

Re: SCOPE 64 Bit beta..........?

Hi, Apart from the driver, there is the "external" graphic library (WxWindow) which need to be ported. Either they have to do it on their owns, or check with wxWidget if it is already available as 64bits library. Any of these solutions requires a large amount of times as these tools have n...

Re: Nails in the Coffin

Hi Gary, I agree with you when it come to the "political" use of debt. In that case it reveal itself as a weapon of mass destruction, but a "clever" use of debt is just a kind of "time accelerator". We have to take care on the way we use our debt and we spend our money....

Re: Nails in the Coffin

Hi Gary While I understand your objections, I don't agree with some of your conclusions. Faking data for a scientific is definitively (and for good reasons) unethical. You suspect that they behaved like this for financial reasons. Personally, I doubt. It take a long time for a scientist to be recogn...
