Re: I'm bored...

oh no, not Schlossquahl (eng.: quell is source quahl is torture) yeah, but the castle really is nice indeed. And no, not after this one Schlossquell too much. Maybe boredom is a state of inner rest to sort things out and prepare for a restart? Well, if nothing is inside to prepare, well, then the ho...

Re: rdII and flexor rd modules

Thank you very much.
I didn't know this wrap of the Flexor modules had been existing.
A very cool surprise that I can use them directly, from now on.

Thanks for taking care!

Re: Solaris At It's Best

How true, Gary. But unfortunately somehow they have a different point of view. Mine is same. C'est la vie...
Anyway, I informed him and asked him to join in, if he likes.
And ...psst... maybe share some tweaks?...
Yes, many of these sounds should become part of the official preset list.
IMHO.

Re: Solaris At It's Best

hmm, cannot find anything like tips&tricks in this review. He's complaining about not too useful presets and that you MUST make your own ones. No synth for preset users. The main article is about whats inside and the routing possibilities. We know that, isn't it? So sorry, no point to find that ...

Re: Shame on you! Shame on you! And shame on you!

Indeed. But how can we calm down this multilegged beast "AlwaysLookingToGrab" that is driven by paranoia? A hit here and a hit there. It is not easy to stay calm if it hits you or your neighborhood. Shure, it helps the beast. All this fussing and fighting and all this misunderstandin...

Re: Multiclient MIDI drivers still no go ?

Maybe we should call this advanced multiclient midi? midi comes, then, in scope, you can split it up to multi clients plus: you can filter! Imagine: a device that gets all the information. the programmer has spend a lot of time investing in a convenient loop to manage the stuff. then his loop finds ...

I do all the recording from tape 24bit/44.1. Much less flanging effects caused by noiseprint with 24 bit. Do you use Osiris? Very practical, all I do after recording disk or tape is converting to 16bit. Anyway, if no Osiris: Do you know the younglove script? Good values to check out inside. Do you h...

normal setup is turntable - RIAA phono preamp - line In for hardware. In the project you go analog in - osiris - mixer - wave out or asio out. As recording software I use Wavelab Lite, so I use wave out. 24 bit. After normalize or limiter I convert back to 16 bit and burn it. Once you've checked out...

Atenism IMHO has been the attempt of a king to break the power of the priests. With the side effect that he was not more responsible to listen to any rule or recommendation outside of his own ideas or wishes. A super dictator. Well, people didn't like these. Too brilliant this idea. That's why after...

yes, it will decrease bandwidth. Do you want to mirror or stripe? In case of mirror, ok, safety first, in case of stripe, maybe you win a bit but I don't think it's worth it, the pci rules your performance after all, so the amount your stripe could do cannot be delivered by the rest of the bandwidth...

yes, no phone AFAIK. For corporate it is recommended to have a
server running, so the workstations can activate themselves in house.
No more volume license also.
The point is this permanent activating thing.
With phone?
No, offline DAW's are somehow not in their view.
