Re: Frozen DSP Chips

Makes sense to me. Nervous as I am new to this Grizzly Adams/Marlin Perkins mountain man stuff. My fingers are cracking it’s so dry and cold here. Totally different than Nashville. I have to put rubber finger caps on every night with Bactine and Olive Oil. They still hurt so then comes the crazy glu...

Frozen DSP Chips

Just curious as I’ve never lived in an Alpine envoriment before. After a 2 day rehearsal lugging my rig up & down this long ass driveway, sidewalks and stairs I left it in my car overnight as I was too damn tired to drag in inside. It is buried in a foot of snow outside and I’d rather sleep smoke we...

Re: Creamware scope modular mentioned on Sonicstate live feed

Yes indeed we all have uses for Modular 4. I currently use it as a drawbar controller to emulate a Hammond B3. Years back my left hand and foot were needed to use the ancient discrete additive synthesis techniques. Now I make drawbar presets, and tie all of the MIDI CC#’s to a single Expression Peda...

Re: STM2448 with custom channels

You can recall combinations of channels or all of them if Screensets worked.
In Scope 7 are they capable?
I haven’t upgraded yet as I suddenly got busy.
Would love to know this.

Re: STM2448 with custom channels

That would be great to see. But the Channel Insert needs to be capable of recall from Screensets instead of having to play with the mouse. As of now Ive never been able to recall Channel Inserts. There’s a chance I’m wrong and it appears outside of my Project Window. Sometimes I see this with 3rd Pa...

Re: Pure Chords Scope OSC-MIDI Server - Support-it-ware!

I’d love to get rid of the LCD and just drag a rack and an iPad around.
People see my LCD and say “Oh, we thought you’re playing all of those parts”...
I am you Cretan. Well I don’t say that but then I have to explain and basically bore people.
Plus less is more as brotha’ man at0m so eloquently says.

Re: Pure Chords Scope OSC-MIDI Server - Support-it-ware!

I’m totally lost in the new OSC application and how this can be used. I have an iPad, I have an awesome Master MIDI Controller. Could my iPad be the control surface for Scopes MIDI? If so. I would connect it to the USB Ports Input, Solaris has the device input. But it’s no biggie I could switch that...

I have cheap Hosa AES and SPDIF 2 Channel converters.
They work well with XITE-1.

Re: Xite Zlink ?

Juergen does all repairs I believe.
I regretted selling mine, but got lucky with one barely used sitting in Vegas.
I never used the ZLink before.
All ins and out of it in use was pretty impressive.

I have a used A16 and a pair of 8ch ADAT A/D D/A for 32 IO.
If there was a MADI unit available, I'd make the move.
Indeed, me too.

Re: Midi cc modulators/lfo

Yes Scope is awesome.
Scope 7 and OS MIDI Commander are on my short list.

at0m made a great LFO to MIIDI Patch I added retriggering to.
I use it to retrigger TC Fireworx Phaser Sweeps and SpaceF Mixer Channel Filters & Pans.

Thanks for all the helpful input, guys! Reevaluating shit here and thinking about going with an Intel. The way uses those 128GB DAWs w/ VEPro is fantastic.
He’s known for synths but his Orchestral set up is insane.

Saki and I took a tour of your town via Google Maps. we found the camps of the snowbird zombies, but i didn't see you... nice town, but where are they hiding the 55k population? the town is only some 10 miles across, and people only live in the middle. there are mostly single family homes, the bigg...

Re: THE CANTERBURY SUITCASE... Wow!

Oh yes.
Much like true Suitcase models from the 70s.
It’s what I use most right now.
Keyscape LA Classic from Keyscape, and PianoTeqs MKI are very good too.
Canterbury is a spot on 70s Rhodes sound though.
Round Robin attack and release samples make you mad just like the original.
