Even the SSv3 Spacestation with SUb Woofer and 2.1 Tube Sonic Exiter is huge.

BX Digital LIVE
Using QSC KW 153s or QSC K12s is always a pleasure in bigger rooms. My only beef with 0s and 1s is in the low end stereo signals get unfocused, not phasy but possibly nullifying becuase my IEMs have a patent with built in corrections. Jerry Harveys Patent is phenominal, it seems everyone uses it, it...

You’re correct about making a living in Nippon.
It’s just like Nevada.
Manila, Macau and Hong Kong also are competitive but money is good.

Re: SHARC DSP revision number
For 12 years I’ve used Scope Cards then the XITE-1 the last nine years.
2 different DSP Chips vrs. 7 different CPUs and 4 OSS.
I like DSPs better.

Re: DSP assignment. How does it work? What are the best DSPs to use.
The reason I like an empty Project Window, then load a SpaceF or any mixer into 18, is they hit the end of the road there. You can check the numbers in 7-18 and see where it spreads to. This leaves everything else you wish to load into the Project Window (not mixer inserts) free room. Anything under...

Re: Looking for A16 Ultra
A guy in Reno has one in mint condition on a local VCI type of Craigslist Lite site. He wants 700. I was thinking of picking up another but I’m liking my BLA ADA8200/A16 Ultra Z-Link even though I rarely use them. Where are you located? Maybe talk him into doing Reverb. Nobody uses eBay due to high ...

Re: VDAT on Windows 10x64
That’s too bad.
I used it for backing vocals and percussion when I had 3 x Scope PRO Cards and it sounded excellent over large speaker Arrays.
Hard to distinguish what was recorded.
Native Sequencer backing tracks still have that sound like somebody hung their robe over the speaker.

Re: DSP assignment. How does it work? What are the best DSPs to use.
Right click on any item in the project window. Modular remembers DSP Assignments, not sure about anything else in Scope 7. My rule with Mixers with insert effects, is to load them empty, assign them to DSP 18, then immediately clear assignment after assigning. That option isn’t seen until you assign...

Re: CV to analog audio input
Black Lion Audio does the ADA-8200 conversion which turns the analog outs into DC coupled.
The unit cost about 650-700 total cost + modification.
I use an A16 Ultra and Z-Links plus the BLA ADA-8200.
And folks wonder why I like XITE-1s.....

Re: Privacy in 2018
I was relieved when COO Sandberg said I could keep my privacy for a set price. Privacy is a pipe dream. People should know when everything is free, it’s like drug dealers giving you the good stuff at cheap prices to get you hooked. Then the price goes up and the shit is cut. To believe your privacy ...

Agreed.
My sons FL Studio PC uses the AIO. Great card.
Total Mix still sucks on MIDI though.
X 1D would be the best match but twice the price.

Re: Is it worth to use a pcie Adapter to connect a M2 ssd?
The card style NVMe devices from Intel and others have adequate cooling but I had some Intel 400Gs and while you don’t really notice the dissipation of bandwidth in our apps, AS-SSD and other benchmarks show the results after 15-20 minutes. Best performance I’ve seen are the Samsung Pro 850 SSDs. 10...

Re: Is it worth to use a pcie Adapter to connect a M2 ssd?
Actually sample loading and OS+Apps will see noticeable increases. Streaming will scream until the controller becomes hot and throttles down to regular SSD transaction times. I put Omnisphere on my M.2 NVMe devices because samples are loaded via program change messages, just like an old hardware sam...

Re: Piano: THIS IS IT!
I shy away from Kontakt because the quality just doesn't seem to be as good as in some of the other software I have. I think maybe Kontakt is designed to use less CPU power. For drums i never use Kontakt. I don't know if it actually sounds 'weaker' or whether it's some placebo, but I prefer to use ...
