Re: Donations

Is it the tab below?
I like donating to RoyT, Sharc, etc.
I hope Sharc is OK.
He usually said thanks but the last 2 times I donated not a peep.

So donate below?

Re: Fat Bastard

I’m waiting for a manual. It has MPE and extensive MIDI but the Moog One has so many killer unique modulations they haven’t added Total MIDI yet. My Code 8 sits right in between these 2 actually. It comes with the worst presets imaginable. But on the bright side it’s up to you to make it work how yo...

Fat Bastard

I love the Code 8, like the new Moog One, but it has that Modal 008 sound to it, which is nice, but for that old Fat Moog or Voyetra sound this one is French, 3000 bucks less and sounds like the old Moogs more than the Moog One does. I’ll always be broke but sacrifices must be made for Fat Bastards....

Re: WalMart SSD Case

Personally I dig the watchband  FitBit. I have matching clothes and match at the Gym too. The place is full of giant folks with ripped up shirts yelling and getting pumped. Since I’m a mere synthesis I use style over size. What’s cool is I get 23,000 steps a day. Only 8-9000 actual walking, f...

Re: Strymon Pedals w/ MIDI

I love SHARC ADSP-21369 Chips. My XITE-1 is the best sounding Mixer/Audio-MIDI interface I’ve ever owned. I’ve heard many other performers using various cards with Tower PCs or laptops and there’s no comparison. I heard a German Cat was using SHARCs to recreate a Leslie Pedal called Neo Ventilator. ...

Re: Strymon Pedals w/ MIDI

Guitarists I know spend hundreds on custom wooden or plastic pedalboards. I don’t need hidden power supplies and don’t even need the Pedals by my feet now that I’ve automated them. But the Aluminum wheel chair ramp for street curbs and doorways was 40 bucks, and when I get old and worthless I’ll hav...

Re: Intel C236 Build

Who knows. Finicky shit. My H97 Z97 Q370 all work. Plus I only used Scope without the ASIO Software. Once I started calling up projects I get the PCI Overflow. Same thing with the Z270 and Scope 5. But Scope 7 and Scope 5 were tripping on the C236 and the guys from Plogue checked the log files I sen...

Great link.
I never have issues even on stage, guess I’m lucky.
But I have many gadgets in case.
Last night I took the buzz out of my bassists rig.

The guy is an engineer during the day, great money.

Sounds are killing 2Zani.
The Neutron PWM demo was huge.
And Volcano sounds really unique and has vintage + modern flavors.
Excellent stuff.

Re: Strymon Pedals w/ MIDI

Probably the best Delay/Reverb and Tape Flange I’ve ever had. I’ve automated the Strymon Timeline and it’s also very powerful routed into the XITE-1. The Tape Flange and Tape Chorus actually taught me how Hendrix got such a great sound in the studio. And guess what, they both run off of SHARC ADSP-2...

Re: Intel C236 Build

I’d hold off on the C236. Might be Asus implementation of it. Xeon is 3.8 but shows up as 4GHz. Worked well for a few days then the PCI Overflow messages. Went back to the i7 4790k. GaryB is going to fix it for me. If that doesn’t work I also sent along an ASRock C236. If both boards do this we know...

Re: Any car people out here?

Rejection is also being avoided. Losing out on an audition made me practice harder, getting smoked by headliners keyboard players made me practice. Hard to find demanding teachers these days. They all seem to use psychology and dealing with behavior, then comes the discipline of learning. Interestin...
