Re: Most beautiful space image !

juno has some great pics of Jupiter’s storms.
I’d love to get a view of a probe on Jupiter’s surface looking up through the atmosphere.

STM 2448 X

Decided to try the STMs because I really need to Screenset recall functions. This is really a great mixer and I’m running Mono out of AUX into Strymons, out of Strymons Stereo. 4 less TS Cables to use. Think I’ll stick with this as work is coming up again and I really need the recall options. I can ...

Re: 20th Anniversary on PlanetZ

I’m a dozen here. But in 2004 some talented asshole set up the keyboard rig with pro cards. I was hooked. What’s sad is he made some great Modular synths and FX. I’m never seen them here. Also ran into a pair of Japanese Scope geeks. Was glad when I got home Scope cards dropped from their 2k price d...

Re: V7.0.1706 View Screen sets layouts not saving window positions correctly - STM2448 and routing window positions

What works nice for me is to save the Channel Layout. Then go from level to aux 1/2/3/4 etc. using MIDI CCs.
My channel layout is 16 since I’m using 14 channels.
Pretty nice actually and far more advanced than all of these other Native Mixers or DSP Mixers by UAD.

Re: V7.0.1706 View Screen sets layouts not saving window positions correctly - STM2448 and routing window positions

The Routing can only be controlled from the View/Routing Window Last night I made my screen sets. But I use Master Channel, Master Return, and Channels Layout. You can save what you’re trying to save but your resolution is making it move around. This is why I select the above and can live with that ...

Re: 24 Bit Wave Source Module

I did open two, and switched speakers, got it working.
Then went to System/App/defaults and made windows media player the default app.

I noticed it took 2 a long time ago maybe 7 fixed that.

Re: Phase Fixer or Sample Delay Insert

Using SurAudio’s Project snapshot you can use Phase X and kick off and on various settings along with bypass. I might just start using STM 2448 again. What’s cool is I can use the STM’s Mono AUX out, then Stereo Return and there’s absolutely no coloration or phasing issues. They’ve done some work on...

24 Bit Wave Source Module

What could I be doing wrong?
I usually use this to learn songs made on mp3’s and it shows the player instead of a message saying it isn’t working, but no audio?

Re: PCI Overflow Solved

I’m re programming my Performances on my MIDI Controller so when I go between scenes, only channels in use have AUX Levels set. It’s a special bank stored in a performance where you tap a single button and every MIDI CC Parameter gets zero’d out. I’ve been wasting IPC and resources forever, never re...

PCI Overflow Solved

It’s always ASIO related in case anyone didn’t notice. PCI-e1X allows 250MBs Bi-Directional for 500MBs I believe. But I’ve always got the message with sampled instruments, not synths. My developer from Plogue suggested checking polyphony on all instruments. I’ve never done this for Kontakt but reset...

Re: Phase Fixer or Sample Delay Insert

Phase Fix also does a great job when aligning channels with external fx units 8) (if one isn't using the 2448 Mixer, which has the feature built into the channel strip) That’s exactly what Im doing with these Astro. Fine tuning on the Phase Fix, not even the X version is most welcome. I hate having...

Re: Phase Fixer or Sample Delay Insert

Actually on the Channel/Bus Inserts.
I can also place one post Hardware Insert Module pre Mix5 in the project window.

Dropbox wouldn’t allow me to download or preview but I did get Parralize.
This is a Phase X or something I need but I could try the MSInsert and see if it works.

Thanks

Phase Fixer or Sample Delay Insert

I need the extra gain on certain algorithms and unfortunately I’m hearing tone colorations from phase
Would love to stick one into an insert on SpaceFs Mix 5 and see if it can fix things.

Maybe build one in Modular but then would need a BCM insert.

Any ideas welcome.

Re: More inputs

Yes, but gel the Revive Audio or Black Lion Modification. It won’t be as good as an A16 Ultra for flexibility but it will sound as good, and the Mod allows more than ADAT In XLR Out, or XLR In ADAT Out. You can select parts of both and even loop your ADAT which usually costs another 800 to have that...

I’m onto AutoGate, Brickwall EQ just has to wait.
My need for instant gratification outweighs the plug ins usefulness.

And Astro I’m in a Disco/Funk/HipHop band that groves really well.
I’m really liking that slap bass sound, been years since I grooved like this.
