Re: Sonic-Core & Kickstarter

Interesting post. I am one of those casual bedroom music people. I've had Pulsar cards from the get go and still today it's the most expensive individual purchase I've ever made in the home studio. I see that the answer to a Scope future has already been stated here ... if (and perhaps it's big if) ...

Re: Looking to buy a Pulsar II card

How about £135 (+pp)? - I'm looking to keep the card 5.1 combo to £300 which seems about average on ebay. R

Re: OSCiLLOT

Eanna a) What was the nature of the issues? b) What exactly was crashing? And how did the crashing manifest itself? Live crashing out (cause the Max Runtime is part of the Live process) / High CPU issues / Scope crashing? c) Also - was it only a problem when Scope was Started? Or was it when Scope w...

Re: OSCiLLOT

Had issues with my Win7 setup as soon as I'd installed Oscillot. Finally sorted out my problem. There appears to be a ‘clash’ between Ableton(MAX), Oscillot and SONIC CORE software/drivers (5.1 Win7 64 bit) for the Pulsar2 soundcard. It terms of the way it crashes it's MAX that appears to get upset....

I'm getting a similar problem with Live 6. I can only see (in Live's plugin directory) a single XTC - VZ Recording ... But I've got a further problem - even though Scope has XTC enabled - firing up Live only produces messages that complain about ASIO/SCOPE not active? How do I know whether XTC is ru...

If you're into software - you should really check out BuildingBlocks @http://www.midiworld.org/AuReality/prod ... locks.html

- create all manner of sofware controlled midi input streams into your Pulsar environment. I love it !

Running Cubase 5 into pulsar (1) - simply to play out thru the analogue out to hear the song. Pressing play – everything is ok. Then when I ‘pop’ over to the pulsar screen – the sound stops ! Flipping back – cubase still running – not stopped or paused – then sound kicks in again Had a quick look ar...

I want to be able to record a band live - (that's 2 vocals, 2 e. guitars, 1 accoustic guitar, probably up to 3 keyboards + some drums probably via 2/3 mics - so that's getting up to a dozen inputs) Right the question - what kit/gear can I use to 'grab' those dozen o...
