Re: can anyone explain what Librarian Girl's video was all a

Sorry for the misnaming ! It could illustrate the many differences beetween a librarian and a Liberian or Katano and Kensuguro ! ;)

Ps : the intro is sung in swahili language by a south african singer, Letta M'bulu.

Ah Katano, you've got some funny concerns sometimes....

It is a Liberian girl he is about. Like from Liberia.

Have fun.

Re: Protools 10with Scope 5.1 with PCI cards under Windows7/

Protools 10 is working without any glitches here on a Gigabyte EX58-UD5 + I7 920 and a 6 dsp card. Scope 5.1 on Windows 7 64 bits.

Hope this helps.

Re: hexter now vsti

I had a DX7 and MIDI'd it to the DX9, liked it so much I got the TX816 and KX88, then I realized where Chaka Khan's keyboardist was getting those big thick EPianos. You mean Michael Ruff ? Bud I think he meant Philippe Saisse. He did some tracks on Chakha Khan's "Feel for you" (1984) ; an...

Re: which synth taught you most about synthesis?

Started with Moog Prodigy & Sequential circuits Prophet one. I could do a lot with them ! Later on, DX7 which I first hated but it was challenging and it gave me a job opportunity with Yamaha France. TX816 is when I started loving FM synthesis. It was much thicker. Casio FZ1 was interesting with...

Re: Scope Project FS

Hey Niceboy, One adat I/O is two ports ! One In (8 channels) one out (8 channels). Then you have a Zlink I/O (one In, 16 ch + one Out, 16 ch) plus a connector for the whip (spdif I/O, Midi I/O/T, analog I/O). Euro is a currency used in Europe. I wrote 350 euros. If you're in the USA, you'll have to ...

Re: Does anyone use Scope and Pro Tools HD together?

I'm looking forward to the emulation of an emulation that all other platforms seem to have. I just read some expert cacklings about how this new and improved Fairchild Compressor plug was based on the UAD Fairchild Comp.....??? WTF....?? Is this virtual gadgetry gone so far and stolen so much cash ...

Bravo John !
Seeing your guitar stuff, I thought that you weren't involved in synth development anymore.
I saw the Namm pics at Xited.org, nice gathering of Zers and synth Gurus it seemed !!

All the best for this new year to you and your family.

Re: Will this set-up work

No, you'll have to use the Mackie's asio driver and use the scope on VSTIM (XTC) mode with the "jumper trick".
Or use the scope or the Mackie asio drivers and get the remaining card ADAT linked (slaved) to the choosen one.

There are no aggregate devices on PC.
