are there two unmatched ASIO modules in the routing window?
what driver is installed according to the device manager?

i have used those three together many times. they definitely work together. what driver is selected in the device setup?

Re: Bummer

ok, but i think his problem is that he isn't using the v7 key. he's using his keyfile, which doesn't have the new v7 key. whether driver signing is off or on, the problem isn't related. :)

v5.1 works just fine in win7 64bit with Cubase v5.

are you sure the driver is installed correctly and that the needed modules are in the routing window BEFORE opening Cubase?

Re: Bummer

do NOT disable driver signing. the v7 driver is signed!

the v7 key is just a key. your v5 keyfile is for your additional keys, which don't need to be remade.

copy the v7 key from the email and paste it into the registration window.

Re: Bummer

windows 10?

there should be no need to do things like disable driver signing with v7. that driver is signed.

Re: mp3 Playback & 24bit Wave Source

go to the speaker icon, right click go to playback devices(settings) and be sure the correct SonicCore "speaker" is selected. some systems will see the second "speaker" as the first one.

Re: New studio monitors and referencing

there is no perfect speaker. the speaker that shows more detail without becoming overly harsh is probably the better choice. what you need to do is learn the speaks that you are using. do mixes and compare those mixes on many different systems(car, home stereo, boom box, earbuds, etc). you'll find t...

just get a computer with multiple PCI slots, it will be cheaper and easier. the expansion chassis do not work well.

it's not an error.

the 32bit portion is just the gui for the Scope hardware. the interface with Windows is 64bit.

Re: Atx quiet cooling systems.

unless you are recording the most delicate sounds possible, the current computers are pretty darned quiet. quiet fans help as does using ssds(hard drive noise is the biggest offender). water cooling helps, but even stock cooling is more than quiet enough for most work.

Re: How can scope start when W10 boots ?

Scope should NOT start with Windows, but it can be done, as indicated. win10 is not like XP or win98, although it looks similar. because of security changes and the fact that Scope must run in Admin mode, autostart is more messy than just opening Scope when you boot the computer. it's only two key c...
