no pitchforks, but it would be nice to havew access to those things. we should all donate so that you can afford to spend the time to make those things available, no?

Re: Use Audio inDSP No Response - Plugiator Tips MIDI OX

any Scope hardware would give you a whole lot. i would gety at least a 6dsp card, but the more dsps, the merrier.

i think the Minimax holds up well to anything, but at the end of the day, it's all about what you like.

well, the history wasn't completely incorrect.
in any case, it's great that you love the plugiator! the rest of Scope is equally good or better....

Re: Use Audio inDSP No Response - Plugiator Tips MIDI OX

actually, Ferrofish was formed after Juergen left SonicCore. the ASB boxes are actually his design to begin with. the B400+ ASB was released by Ferrofish, but it was not based on inDSP's box. in fact, it's the other way around. the ASB and Klangboxes had quite a bit to do with the second insolvency ...

Re: Use Audio inDSP No Response - Plugiator Tips MIDI OX

the history is mostly correct, however Holger and Juergen were never Creamware owners. they were just the heads of the software and hardware development teams, respectively. when they rescued Scope, they had no longer been employed by Creamware for some time, since the first insolvency. SonicCore di...

Re: Crackles in audio with Reaper

in Windows 10, it's a pretty good idea to disable One Drive.
Windows continues to try to use and install it. it eats a lot of cpu cycles and it definitely leads to crackles.

Re: No signal in scope and daw

for 96k everything must use S/Mux.
this takes BOTH ADAT A and ADAT B, since ADAT is 48k max. to get 96k, you must use double channels. this is true for ALL ADAT devices.

Re: No signal in scope and daw

if Scope is master, then the A16 and PreSonus need to be slave. as stated above, there must only be one master.

use both in and out cables. clock travels from output to input, so you might not be able to send clock, if you only use one cable.

Re: How much does the Creamware a16 NON ultra suck?

the converter sounds very good. it's "only" 18bit, though. it also does not like a unbalanced cable in the balanced i/o. really, it's a good-sounding device. you may or may not like it better than the 8200, it is probably a bit smoother sounding than the 8200, but the 8200 is more useful. some of th...

well, how about using more fx in Scope rather than using all fx in Live? you might be able to save some cpu cycles that way. also, if you are using verbs and delays, you might be able to bus them instead of using them on each track...

Re: How to reach lowest ULLI

don't use a bunch of FX before you freeze or record the vsti. 44% average load in Ableton = lots of moments of 100% cpu = lots of dropouts. yes, a more powerful system will help a lot, but if your habits are not sensible, then you will soon eat up all the new available power. the way a cpu works, it...
