Re: Midi CC# preset

it's not an issue for mixers and fx. when have i downplayed anything? i keep acknowledging you and your complaint. i do think that you can do without assigning ccs to Range and/or waveform, but i also think it should work. so there. are you humorless? are you sure you don't want to fight? i've got a...

Re: Midi CC# preset

i have a lot of trouble with Windows, all versions. many of these problems are quite troublesome for me. computers have been like this for 100% of the time that i have used them, since my first Tandy 1000 with an 80186 processor. but as i said(again!), i totally understand your complaint. bug? sure....

Re: Midi CC# preset

yes, as i said, i understand that it doesn't work the way you would wish it to work. as i said, it's disappointing. also, as i said, it is a good argument for composing and arranging, then recording...

Re: Midi CC# preset

so, i guess you need to use the notepad and list the ccs and then reassign them. definitely a pain, but not really hard. it's an argument for recording things. i know this is not helpful, but well...there it is. its a loss of some 5 minutes of life... i've always disliked the midi preset list. it's ...

Re: Pci to pci e adapter

anything that does not have a full-sized power supply won't provide enough power for more than one card.

Re: Missing STDM connection

try one cable. perhaps one of your cables are bad. using one cable will let you swap cables. perhaps the contacts are worn. if the contacts are worn, you will need to clean regularly since the copper will corrode(unlike the gold coating). this is a hazard involved in moving the cards around a lot. c...

Re: Missing STDM connection

might be the middle one.

do not use isopropyl. use 99% pure or contact cleaner. less pure alcohol leaves a film that will make things worse.

Re: PCI Overflow Problem

the masterverb test is really just a practical measure of PCI performance. that is why an empty project is used. 7 should be plenty. no doubt that other things you do will affect that, and of course, it's interesting...Cubase shouldn't be involved for the diagnosis. basically, if the hardware works,...

:-? Sorry the new mobo makes the same shit
well, that looks a little better, but it's still not very good. that really stinks.

did you say you were using the motherboard's built-in video? if so, i would try a PCIe video card, just to check.
i do think this is a hardware issue.

Re: ASIO 24 bit not listed

use the ASIO or ASIO2 source and the matching destination.

if your DAW is 24bit, the ASIO driver will also be 24bit.

right click on windows logo choose "run". type "msinfo32" click on "hardware resources" click on "conflict\sharing" note the name of any USB, Firewire, or Network device and disable the device in the device manger. no other sharing should matter. i surely have typed this a lot, especially since most...
