Re: Windows 7 64bit - any incompatible devices?

just fwiw, the Scope software itself has absolutely nothing to do with audio. it is simply the GUI for the dsps. it has nothing to do with things being compatible with 64bit. the issues with VDAT, STS and XTC mode are related to the fact that those functions were designed for win98 and XP sp1. 20 ye...

email accounts at SC are NOT dead. send the request to support[at]soniccore.de as SonicCore is not Creamware, there are no Creamware records available. did you purchase v5.1? if so, there will be records in the SC shop. those keys are probably recoverable. otherwise, SC can provide a basic v4.5 keyf...

Re: Xite-1 Heaphone Out

line level.

line level can be +4 or -20. there is a volume level for the headphones out, so it should be possible to match levels if you use it for a send.

Re: Flickering meters on a16 ultra

well, that might be faulty hardware, if it's Z-Link. if i remember, with Z-Link there are not options for syncing. have you tried ADAT instead of Z-Link, just to verify? tried new cables?

Re: Flickering meters on a16 ultra

sounds like a clock issue. check your settings.
it might also be a bad or badly fitting ADAT cable, or dust in the port.

are you using both in and out cables?

the newest motherboards with PCI slots work well. only Socket 1155 motherboards are problematic.

ok, just opinions about gear...please play nice everyone. no matter who started it, we all suffer. use whatever you like. my opinion might be right or wrong, but if something works for you, what does it matter? obviously there is a place for this instrument. whether any music that matter to anyone g...

Re: Waldorf Kyra (Valkyrie)

dsps really do not become outdated, in the sense that updating them does not lead to improved sound.

i got no problem with the synth, though.

don't bother with programs that claim to fix speakers or headphones. they are a waste of time and money.

Re: On XP running Scope 5.0.2617? I need your ASIO modules

use the 32bit source. it will run at 24bit, if your sequencer is running 24bit.
the modules were simplified in v5.

this should not affect your old projects.

Re: Wont get fooled again - unless I fool myself

solutions like that don't work. they are simply money grabs.
lock your head in a vice indeed.

computers can help do many things. this is not one of them.

if you fix the room a little bit, and learn a pair of speakers, you won't even need all this stuff.
