Re: Reaper - no signal when rendering

books in the library about traditional(hardware) recording techniques and practices would help you a lot.

it's all about watching the signal flow. the important thing is to record and monitor the END of the signal chain.

Re: Reaper - no signal when rendering

well, you need to think about what you are trying to do. exactly what audio are you trying to record? you want to send that audio to a stereo track in Reaper. the main mix out of the Reaper mixer is probably what you want to record, what ASIO outputs do you send that to? whatever output that is, con...

ASIO out(source) to Scope mixer. send mix out to ASIO in(destination).

make a new stereo track input stereo ASIO 1-2, arm the track. press record.

Re: Reaper - no signal when rendering

Scope plugins are not processed by the PC. if you render offline, how can the computer know what is happening on the card?
to make this work, you would need to do a real time render, or better yet, just record the mix into a new stereo track.

Re: scoppe 5.0 windows vwersion?

yes, it will install into 32bit only. v5.1 will work in 64bit as well. you will need to disable driver signature enforcement. Google has instructions.

no, there's no special update price. rather, v7 is less expensive than v5.1.

Re: Win 10 can't change projects

no, i believe you. the board 0 errors would have me concerned, that would be a failed XITE, except that it works ok on another drive. that's strange. anyway, i don't think it's the end of the world, if it works, but it points to some kind of file issue, somewhere on the C: drive. the computer is jus...

Re: Win 10 can't change projects

win 10 works fine.

the XITE-1D WILL throw an error for the dsps that it doesn't have, but after clearing the error, it should work fine. this is something that is addressed in v7.1(for sure!!!), but it shouldn't be stopping you.

Re: Empty project default scope 5.0

set\settings\projects\save project as default.

"save project as startup" is for the project that Scope opens with.
"save project as default" is for the project that opens when you click on file\new.

Re: Six String on Scope XITE 7 @ 96kHz max 2 voices before DSP capacity limit

i think all of the parts of SixString are FM Music. i have no idea who they are, but they get paid when SixString sells.

as far as i know, nothing really needs to be done about SixString. it's possible that a few more voices could be squeezed out, i just don't know for sure.

Re: Six String on Scope XITE 7 @ 96kHz max 2 voices before DSP capacity limit

SixString is FM Music.

Dynatube is Softube, yes.

maintaining? yes, and no. it depends on the designer and the agreement. if things get too out of date and SC doesn't have the original files, then it might just be dropped. SixString is still plenty useful, however. 6-8 voices is usually plenty.

Re: Six String on Scope XITE 7 @ 96kHz max 2 voices before DSP capacity limit

the XITE isn't maxxed out. it's maxxed out on SixString voices. you can run plenty of other stuff as long as you don't use more than about 6-8 voices.

thank you, good news if true.
Did you try it ?
I´d be fine w/ Win whatever 32Bit and SCOPE v7.x 32Bit for the time being.

Re: Merits of going 24bit/96khz?

that is generally a good approach, however when it comes to sample players, i'll just remind you that some of the greatest sampled sounds have been 12bit and under. it really depends on what kinds of sounds you are looking for. ultimately, it's how the sounds are used, more than how perfect the soun...
