Selling Pulsar 2+Powersampler+Pulsar 1+Luna I/O box

Hi all, Since I''m not spending so much time on music anymore and have moved to using only VST stuff, I'm selling my Scope gear. I would like to sell the whole set in one go but am open to offers for individual items. So what's for sale: Pulsar 2 (6DSP) Pulsar 1 (4 DSP) Powersampler (3DSP, Z-link) L...

Re: PlanetZ forums are moving --> scopeusers.com

Wow, end of an era indeed, but great that the forums will continue. They are the best resource for Scope on the web and a great community for all. Thanks for all your work and involvment over the years!

Re: SC Scope Platform Overview and Demonstration (Faxi Nadu

Well done :) Your video is squashed horizontally though. Like you screen captured on a super-widescreen monitor and then squashed it into a 16x9 video.

Re: Lower Ulli setting causing midi jitter

I'm on Windows 7 64 bit, latest version of Live.

I don't really have any need to switch ULLI settings while Live is open, I just thought the BSOD's that happen when you do might be related to the midi weirdness at lower ULLI settings.

Re: Lower Ulli setting causing midi jitter

Just gave it a try. After a fresh boot, DAW not loaded, I could change the ULLI on the fly with no BSOD. Then started Ableton Live, and closed it again. Now changing the ULLI gave a BSOD (even though Live was closed).

Re: Lower Ulli setting causing midi jitter

Is your DAW running when you change ULLI? I can easily cause my PC to BSOD if I change anything to do with the ASIO driver while Ableton is running. Not much fun when doing development, as it happens plenty! Hmmm, I do think the DAW was running some of the times when I got the BSOD, but not sure if...

Re: Lower Ulli setting causing midi jitter

Hmm you think? My projects are not heavy and my pc configuration is pretty up-to-date. And the issue is reproducable even in a virtually empty project. Which resource would cause this kind of problem? I suspect some kind of hardware issue since it does seem to be in some way connected to the blue sc...

Re: Lower Ulli setting causing midi jitter

Hmm well the problem seems to return after a while...
Guess I'll just have to leave the ULLI at 13ms for now as that seems to be relatively stable.

Re: Lower Ulli setting causing midi jitter

:)
Yeah, and it was definitely not a case of the pc being on the limit of it's resources as I was experiencing the symptom even in a largely empty test project.

Re: Lower Ulli setting causing midi jitter

Well since there wasn't anything else I could really do I reinstalled Scope and reseated the cards in the computer and it seems to work again now.

Lower Ulli setting causing midi jitter

I normally have my ULLI set to 13ms (44.1 Khz) but I just discovered that, if I set it to a lower latency setting (7 or 4 ms) this causes very noticeable midi jitter (using Ableton as a sequencer). I noticed it because I had some filter sweeps on my Nord Rack synth automated by midi cc's from Ableto...

Also Windows, since Windows 7, has the lovely "snipping tool" for making screenshots.

Re: what are you listenennig to at the moment?

Yeah that's basically my dayjob. Been doing that as a freelancer now for the past year, mostly doing tv promo's and a little bit of motion graphics design work. Nothing too exciting in terms of the stuff I make but I get more than enough work to pay the bills. And I have more freedom and actually mo...

King of Snake? Are you alive man? What a pleasure to know you are still around man! :D Greetings to you! :) Hey man Nestor :) Yeah I'm still around. Never really left but life has gotten in the way of doing much music the past couple of years. Trying to get into it a bit again now though and at lea...

Re: what are you listenennig to at the moment?

Cool I was at the STRP gig as well. And pretty much every other Underworld concert in the Netherlands since 1999 or so (and a bunch in Belgium, England, Germany and once in New York ;)). Definitely a great live act, although these days they play the same setlist over and over while back in the day t...

Re: upgrade time...maybe

I posted the masterverb result in the masterverb test thread. DSP maxed out with 11 masterverbs without PCI overflow. I'm happy with this upgrade :)
