So all seems to be fine now.. as i wrote in the beginning of this Thread i already installed a small Fan on the right side of the PCP there seems to be a "slot" for a Fan. But what i read as standard there is no Fan installed. Also i dindnt find any connector. So i soldered it on the Power...

so i tried it now with a 18V stabilised power supply It dont get Hot until now but only slightly warm.. that feels better but after some minutes all Clipping LEDs are glowing as before. If i switch it off and on all LEDs are still on. If i switch it off for 5 miunutes the LEDs works normal as a clip...

So the PSU is labeled with:
MPE ADAPTER AC/DC Type AT.15 In220 50Hz out 18V 2A
i checked the voltage with no load it has about 25V with A16 connected its at 21V

ableton is running in asio mode. Are there asio midi drivers? the xbase is connected on the usb interface in the same way as i connected it with scope. I dindt see any loopback in ableton, the midi indicator was only blinking if i move a knob on push. aslo the midi monitor in SFP was not fraking out...

my scope DAW worked better then ever..
with Win8 64bit, sfp 5.1 and ableton .
and i did it .. i installed the 8.1 update .. now my scopes don't want their drivers.
If i run the sfp setup as admin i get:
Found "Sonic Core Pulsar2"
ERROR: InstallDriver returned -2
...
my scope DAW worked better then ever..
with Win8 64bit, sfp 5.1 and ableton .
and i did it .. i installed the 8.1 update .. now my scopes don't want their drivers.

Is there also a know bug with the MIDI device ?
Because i had massive problems with midi clock.
With a USB device it works without problems.

IN the two last songs since scope reanimation .. ABleton Suite - analog - operator and sampler. nothing else .. as written before. I also own and use Massive. but i dindt use it here. Also it doesent crackle more if it is active. But the crackels also appears by playing a wav only file in ableton.. ...

thanks for all replys. this evening im going to play again with the PC.. I will check the GFX again .. It does not only happens if i move a scope mixer. It also happens if i move a explorer window or the system information or the taskmanager. THe Fancy gfx is off so i only move a small gray frame .....

so again .. a bit testing.. spdif is now reconnected. ADAT sync is superp i have no crackeling peaks on my mixer .. i have tried sysinternals taskmanager. there are no spikes.. ableton uses 12 to 25 cpu and no other processes are to find with it. Also checked Disk I/O and so on.. under XP it is much...

so .. i got same results with the dell and the AMD. crackels. :( with ableton and reaper.. im wondering about that if i go to abletons audio setting with Ulli at 3ms and select test-tone with 80% CPU i dont get any crackels.. but if i play a Wave file with 0% cpu i got crackels. same as on the dell ...

i will try... but i dont think a broken pulsar will cause problems only if i scroll around in a window.. or if something pops up on the screen .. but lets see.
