Re: I made a 22 minute long Scope demo :)

Nice to hear the lushness of Scope synths compared to all those VSTs out there!

Samplitude and Sequoia.
I like mixing and mastering through Scope in to Sequoia.

You can get a license dongle and share across multiple computers using a USB hub.

G
Where can I get the dongle and has it a name?

I'm shure it is NOT an update!
Buy it on the website?

Re: Magix Samplitude Pro Xmas Offer

Samplitude handles sysex ok.
Not sure about patterns though.
It also handles any other controller data that is not ‘standard’, like #56

This is a great deal for a great DAW.
Been using Samplitude (and Sequoia) for over 20 years now.

Re: new laptop or 1U for Xite?

I don't know if you like Apple computers... ;) But a MacMini would be another option for a zero noise 1U solution. The picture shows one in a Sonnett RackMac Mini together with the Sonnett Thunderbolt adapter. More info here: http://www.hitfoundry.com/issue_26/mac_mast.htm Link to the RackMac: http...

Re: new laptop or 1U for Xite?

I know Xite runs on Win10, but ADK apparently doesn’t know that. I’ve thought about swapping out the host drive, so we’ll see. I’d like more RAM for the ROMplers like Kontakt, which I use for various libraries. Win10 (stripped down to nothing using Godmode with all the apps, cloud, etc. turned off) ...

new laptop or 1U for Xite?

Decided to start a fresh topic... Been way too busy the last several years to even try to keep up with latest Windows/PC setups. Looks like my nearly 10-year old ADK / Win7 laptop is starting to show it's age with really slow bootup, etc. I've considered wiping it and rebuilding with (Godmoded) Win1...

Re: Rainlink

MIDI is still awesome and for the most part totally underutilized. Multidimensional Polyphonic Expression (MPE) configuration has brought some resurgence to this under-utilized spec. by using MIDI for more 3-D type controllers like ROLI, which can take aftertouch to a whole other level, but consumer...

Re: Hot Hand USB Wireless - Better than a Theremin?

Works great with iPad/iOS for modulation.
Never made time to try it with Scope.

I put it on the head of my MIDI guitar.

I’m sure the liberals are happy that the assembly line of hurricanes (after about 12-years of quiet) is hitting all of Trump’s properties.

Too bad you didn't do a double-blind test, but to me the Scope synths still sound deeper and richer.

Re: When the DAW app crashes...

Switching host/slave switch in the ULLI doesn't always work.
Have to restart Scope for Samplitude to see ASIO.
Luckily Scope doesn't crash, so I often save my Scope project first before restarting.
It IS a hassle, but only happens on rare occasions.
