Thanks for the info astroman. I did re-seat the cards and made sure they were correctly fitted but the problem is still happening. I am upgrading my system in the next week so I might give a fresh install and new hardware a go. A reboot does fix the problem but i am concerned that my cards are reach...

The odd thing is sometimes I can hear Audio .. see the screenshot where it shows no samplerate but the master 2448 meters moving and I hear the audio.

If i leave this and come back in 20 mins I will hear no audio.

Yes jo, i can run my scope plugins when using xtc mode.

I dont get an error message when i run scope in xtc mode. When i load a plugin thats not a creamware one no audio passes through it.
