they have to live too. as stated by the former posts the update policy was rather generous in the past. Now it's your (our) turn to give in a bit, SC isn't Creamware anyway and has to make mony. Totally agree! We have to highlight that point I think. If it would be still the same company (Creamware...

thats terrific news Don't panic, it will be released together with the PC version. SC just decided not to show the Mac version at the Messe because they had a very fresh version just an evening before Messe starts and couldn't test it therefore. And you know, if you are going to show such a big new...

Hardware is better than software. Every piece of electronic hardware here in my studio needs software ;-) So is there a priori an advantage? It will always work Really? Have got a broken down synth here ;-) .... and there are several devices out there known not to function properly. Ironically enou...

also vid here http://www.delamar.de/musikmesse-2008-scope-xite-1-video/ Very interesting: Ralf Dressel also mentioned that Xite-1 could have even more than 10 times the power of Scope, up to 20 times he said! Read here what Ralf Bach told me regarding this feature: http://www.planetz.com/phpBB2/vie...

I think brain reported to get it working with 44.1 kHz sampling rate I got it working even with 48 KHz, but with the known workaround. So XTCPro has to be set on 44.1 (Scope as master in my setup) , if so starting Cubase 4.1 and then changing the Sync to slave in the settings (slaving to BNC in my ...

Re: What about this new granular synth?
If I remeber right it is called gizzmo. Ralf told me it needs a certain DSP amount. But with the new hardware >>> no prob! Since DSP power is now virtually unlimited the gate is open for very powerful algos to follow.strav100 wrote:Any info on this?

Hi, You are right Jimmy, i think this new product from SC definitely opens doors for live apps ! I totally agree with you guys. Put Xite-1 and A16 in a small mobile rack and there you are. Playing and recording live with that hardware AND Software is imo the most powerful solution so far. Back agai...

Can two XITE-1's be combined for expanded power? No, if I remember right. Do you really need 20 times the power of a Scope card? Thats not correct. I don't think we can dismiss that feature atm. Have you got further information? As I said, IF I remember right, Ralf said, that you cannot combine two...
