Re: SCOPE 5.1
Mac's are an American phenomenon. Go to Europe. They laugh at macs. Hardly anybody uses them over there, if they even know what they are. Unless you are to count an iPhone as a mac....and those are rare too. Sorry, I don't agree. I am using Mac, my Girlfriend is using Mac, my best friend....and no,...

Re: Review of X-ite 1? Coming back to Scope?
Unfortunately, what you are trying to achieve is currently not possible with Vienna Ensemble Pro. Such a pity! I'm also looking for the same solution, having Cubase on a Mac Pro and of course the Xite with a PC. Using ADAT lightpipes is not a solution for me as I need those from the Xite for gear, ...

Re: SCOPE 64 Bit beta..........?
eh, sorry to sound a bit flat on this one, but 64 bit isn't any revolution at all... just one more step deeper into thoughtless... scheming :D I'm curious what aspect you'd consider revolutionary, tho. Seriously - I'm not kidding or pretending that I'm the ultimate know-it-all... ;) You can save th...

Re: Xite owners next challenge
After all the drooling is completed after seeing how many ridiculous amounts of mixers, or reverbs, or whatever can be run in Xite, we should consider trying to do some more real-world applications (besides playing 10 synths at once Jimmy) that could really show off what Xite can do. One thought I ...

Re: SCOPE XITE-1 is shipping!
Marvin The A16 workaround is very good to know, thanks a lot ! I have the same challenge here. When Xite-1 was announced I made SC the suggestion to provide at least the same In/Out equipment as three cards would provide. Because many (most?) of us do have three cards allready and therefore do have...

- My actual system provide me 7 ADAT ports which i use to sum my main computer (Mac with Logic as Sequencer) and 2 Slaves PCs in the Scope PC (2 Scope pro / 1 Pulsar II, 1 Scope Pro has an ADAT plate). X-cite has 2 ADAT ports. How could we have more than 2 ADAT ports with an Xcite System At the mom...

Re: regarding the scope5.0 release
I've got the new printed catalogue from musicstore.de a few days ago, and guess what, XITE-1 is announced on page 360 (though still not online)! To me it looks more like a picture of the real thing, but definitely different compared to the rendered picture on the SC site. The text below is also inte...

Re: regarding the scope5.0 release
Excellent news, Ralf! :) And also a good idea to keep us informed! :) I'm sure, everybody here is happy to hear, the delay is only because XITE-1 and Scope 5.0 needs further developement. That is absolutely understandable. Developing new hard- and software could allways mean problems no one could ha...

Re: Will SC Platform 5 support 64bit op.systems(like Vista x64)?
Will SC Platform 5 support 64bit op.systems(like Vista x64)? Do you have any information? I asked Ralf some days ago, and the general answer is: Yes! Xite-1 supports 64 bit. But not software version 5.0 so far. It will support Vista, of course, but 32 bit. As soon as they have launched all new stuf...

I think I was told on Messe, that you can transfer existing Scope licenses to the new xite-1 hardware. Right. They even think about a hardware upgrade policy (eg giving back your cards and get XITE-1 for less), but no promises so far. This is a question for marketing-calculation and we shouldn't be...

Surely if you have an old card and xite you boot up Scope v5 and it will recognize both cards and add the DSPs together. I don't think that's what will happen (IE I doubt it), but please correct me if that's wrong. Ralf definitly denied this, you can't run both together. Even the program code of 5....
