Free Windows 10 Upgrade - Scope still working

Today my Windows 7 (64 bit) pops up a "Get your free Windows 10 now - this is a limited offer...". Has anybody done the Windows 10 Update yet? And if yes, how about Scope Drivers and Software. Everything still working properly? To be more precise I have two old fashined scope 6 DSP cards, ...

Thanks for the advice, I missed "Wishlist" forum when looking for the term "Requests" ;-)

Request: Is there Scope device comparable to Fabfilter Pro-C

Back after several years...Hi planetz forum, good that you are still alive!!!!!! I have been looking for some VST Compressor Stuff the recent days and stumbled over Fabfilter Pro-C which seems to be a real beast. http://www.fabfilter.com/products/pro-c-compressor-plug-in . Re: problem with win7/64 and jb synth-pack

Thanks Gary (and everyone else) - I've been too busy to contact John about this, but would be very glad to have my Solaris working in win7 64bit if it's possible. It's the only fly in an otherwise perfect ointment. okay nice, now we know that it would probably be good to have a working solaris synt...

Re: problem with win7/64 and jb synth-pack

Okay, let's say nobody said anything about nothing. I want a running system and if sc isn't capable of providing good customer support then let's take care of it on our own... And by the way, thanks for your help. I appreciate that - you've responded within hours and I'm sure we can handle this in a...

Re: problem with win7/64 and jb synth-pack

i can't argue with that. i don't think that anyone's been defrauded, though, either. the judge doesn't need his robes. i only have the reality that exists. there are only so many hours available in a day and a handful of people to man those hours. money must come in. products must be made. do you w...

Re: problem with win7/64 and jb synth-pack

64bit versions of .sys files are John's job(the error message probably calls them vxd files). i'm not sure if it's a rewrite or just a recompile. John will need to do it. please request 64bit versions of the sys files from him. tell him what file you are having trouble with(it'll be an sys if the e...

problem with win7/64 and jb synth-pack

i've bought the jb synth pack soem weeks ago and from the begining it was no fun: sc delivered keys for synths that were not in download area and for some synths they didn't deliver keys...but by trial and error I was able to unlock solaris with a key for another synth. But then I have problems load...

Re: scope 5.1/64 xtc freezes cubase 6/64 on win7

Hi guys, after going through literaly "thousands" of upload-key-file dialogs for each and any of the plug-ins once, I'm still not able to use xtc mode. I thought I'm made a step forward but that's not true... When starting cubase 6 again "as administrator" and the trying to creat...

Re: Issues: "Unexpected DSP overload" and Registration Loop

Regarding the registration loop: I've had the the same problem with xtc mode. While starting cubase, it was an endless count of registration dialogs for each and any individual plus-in.but after getting thru all registrations once everything works now.

scope 5.1/64 xtc freezes cubase 6/64 on win7

Hi everybody, i've tried to use xtc mode today, but failed. I managed to have the devices included into cubase menus.but whenever i want to use an effekt or synth, then cubase freezes.only if i kill the vstbridge prozess through taskmanager cubase comes to life again.but. this is kind of weird,'caus...

Eno shimmer effect

There's this really amazing shimmer effect that was probably first introduced by brian eno. If i got it right it's a pitch-stifter to reverb feedback loop. You can find some youtube videos as example. And there's this valhalla vst guy who built a amazing shimmer vst plus-in. take a look at his web p...

Re: Recording mix through Wav-Driver: Pops'n'Crackls on left

Okay, today I was able to record something succesfully. I started out having the same situation as I've described in this thread. then I closed Audacity and opend it as "Administrator". It's like scope and cubase which I have to start as admin either. Well, after that it worked. I'm not qu...

Re: Recording mix through Wav-Driver: Pops'n'Crackls on left

Thanks guys, for your advice. But I haven't been succesfull fiddling with each and every wav-related option in scope and audacity until now. This seems to be driver weirdness or a NotSupportedByAudacityException...Is somebody using Audacity succesfull with Scope 5.1/64 on old Scope Cards in a dual-c...

Recording mix through Wav-Driver: Pops'n'Crackls on left cha

Hi y'all, Today I've tried to record a mix coming from cubase going through a scope mixer and wave dest into audacity. That kind of setup has worked well in the Scope 5 / 32bit days. But now I have the odd behaviour that there are pops and crackles on left channel only. Even if cubase is stopped and...

Where have all the old devices gone

Re: Scope 5.1 64bit issue collection

Here are some of my problems Error 1.) Today I've tried STS5000 (which was included in the 5.1 Upgrade) to find out that Win7 also has a BSOD IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. As soon as I send the first midi notes to STS I get the BSOD. 2.) Miniscope MKII opens without background, only control elements show o...

Re: terrible new asio driver S.C. 5.1 x64 under win7 x64

Halo, Is anybody here, who has no problem with new Asio under win7 x64 in S.C. 5.1 x64? I've bought a new computer configured to work with audio applications (in my studio), and my work completelly stoped now. Under Cubase 5 I hear only crackles and pops... I'm really disappointed and don't know wh...
