Re: Vinco (urei 1176) and DIY

Thank you Lima! For guys like me, who have no previous experience of vintage analog gear, this is a very handy link. So you could take a look to THIS site also. Psyq is very similar to the Aphex aural exciter (i think its a kind of replica) but someone says that Psiq sounds better than the other......

Re: New Notepad

Hi Spacef, understood. Don't worry about that because I can't find them ATM. But if I'll find them (and someone ask me to send), I'll send you a PM before emailing it to him.

Cheers! :-)

Vinco (urei 1176) and DIY

I've just discovered THIS site. There's lots o information about the urei limiter wich could be useful to understand how it (and Vinco) works and how to build it also! :-)

HERE there's the list of all the DIY devices.

Re: Mixing in Scope

I've mixed a lot with the STM 16-32 in the past and my routing was: Asio -> some micromixers (like bus groups) -> multiFx slot (one for each "bus") -> Stm16-32 As alternative check out the free mixer named "Route" by Shayne White. It should have some busses if I remember correclty.

Hi jimmy! I've already requested this and there were some problems with the SC synths... BUT the Mighty Devs called Shroomz and Sharc have some aces to put on the table... Read here... ;-) http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=23018 http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=30&a...

Re: 1632 mixer - Mute button vs green Mix button??

No nasty bugs IMO, but remember to switch the phase compensation button if you want to preserve the phase between the tracks. This eats a little dsp. If you want to control the phase track by track, do not push that button and load the free device "phase fix" as insert in the channels you ...

Re: Compatible Samples

Hi Neil and welcome :-) With the STS you can load wav samples and the Akay S2000 format, but not the newer formats as far as I know. You can load the Soundblaster's soundfonts (.sf2) also. Searching on the net you can find a lot of free soundfonts. And with the STS samplers you can record your perso...

Yes, this one do exaclty that job.

Another way is to make a simple modular patch and load it via a modular slot :-)

Re: New Notepad

I remember some OLD notepad devices (I can't find them anymore here on the Z, anyone have it anymore?): One was a simple notepad with a moon as background. The other was a notepad intended to be used for reconding sessions. It's name should be "session notes". I don't know if they work for...

Re: Tape echo!

I've asked for this some time ago with the same answer: some atoms, needed to build such a device, are missing in the SDK. If my memory doesn't fail, a developer (I didn't remember who ATM) tells about a device he was working on, that workarounds the issue, but consuming HUGE amount of DSP (someting...

Re: Error message

Seems like a missing DSP file. If it's needed for a standard Soniccore's device maybe you should reinstall the Scope software. Otherwise (if it's required by a third party's device) you should watch in the forum if the file has been released later. Another problem could be a wrong attribute of some ...
