Re: Unreliable power problem on my XITE

Ah right. Actually yes I was looking at your video file again and it does look like a different issue. Sorry about that. It's a shame there aren't any schematics, but then again since most of the XIte is SMD and requires a skilled technician and tools to do any serious work to it probably just as we...

Re: Unreliable power problem on my XITE

Sounds like a very similar thing that happens from time to time on one of my A16 Ultra. Sometimes and for no apparent reason the power goes on it then a few seconds later, sometimes less sometimes more it starts again. I remember it used to be much worse but nowadays it happens quite infrequently so...

https://bitbucket.org/JimHewes/solarium/downloads/

I can't find a screenshot, so will try and remember to take some later.

Yes it's going to take time for JB to sort things out I expect, and hopefully Holger is on the case for Scope 7.1 with those bug fixes....soon. :)

Re: Solaris HW tabletop & 1U "19 rack versions

There is a third party editor for Solaris called Solarium, coded by Jim Hewes who also did some programming for the Solaris, so perhaps that might be an avenue they could explore and revise it for the rack unit. Who knows. :)

Re: Solaris HW tabletop & 1U "19 rack versions

Yes I think they would be wise to offer the rack as a unit in its own right rather than just an expansion module. Perhaps something like the DSI Poly Evolver rack which works well on its own (although with somewhat limited polyphony, and using the software controller/editor is pretty essential to ge...

Nice. Yes Spielraum's SR-Pro is a very useful update based on SAL's original tool.

Re: What the future sounded like

Yes the first film is a great docu largely covering the BBC Radiophonic Workshop and the birth of EMS. Not seen that Modulations film though. Thanks at0m, will watch that later.

Yes hyperreal is still a wealth of info, which reminds me I need to look up a couple of things on there. :)

Cheers

Re: Grenzfrequenz Synchrotron

I have synchrotron here, but am away right now, so will reply when I am home. But yes sometimes it won’t play a sound when you change to another preset so you may have to try reloading the device and then reloading whichever preset. Also you may need to set the midi channel in both the device and in...

Re: Inverted L/R > R/L from Wave Source audio signal

Check the 5th post here, it seems the Wave source reversed is a known bug....not sure if there has been a fix since then but this might at least explain your issue.

http://forums.scopeusers.com/viewtopic. ... 69#p271709

I am sure GaryB can provide up to date info on this.

Re: In Windows 10 Nuendo won't load the ASIO SCOPE PCI ASIO Driver

I thought there was a patch for this somewhere but can only find some info relating to a patch for Wavelab. Sorry I can't help more, but search the scope forums for any relevant info and see if that helps.

Re: Inverted L/R > R/L from Wave Source audio signal

I know it might sound obvious, but are you 100% sure you have double checked the physical cables from your Luna card to your monitors or to your outboard monitor amp or mixer. If you have a mass of cables it can be easy to accidentally connect the left and right cables the wrong way around.

Have you checked those sys files are not blocked from running perhaps . Right click them from windows explorer and check properties. Just a thought? I don’t run Win 10 here so not sure otherwise
