Re: Privacy in 2018

Great stuff. Cloudflare DNS, NordVPN, DuckDuckGo, I would add Orbot. And Orfox browser (Android Only). For Windows you would need a dual boot or USB boot into the Tails OS where they are built in. You will then be invisible. So now you can guess my day gig but I deny everything. 8)

Re: Cakewalk for less! SONAR is Freeware now!

When the service is free YOU are the product. Maybe the info you give them they sell to others to target you for other products related to your style of music, type of plugins, etc. Just sayin'. They have a treasure trove of data to mine from the Cakewalk blog.

G :o :o gle is the NSA/CIA/NWO. Remember they changed the company name to ALPHABET. Lose Google. Use DuckDuckGo over Tor with a VPN and don't use G :o :o gle$ DNS.

Re: Piano: THIS IS IT!

I'm very happy with Pianoteq. I suppose it "speaks" to me or for me or whatever, that inspiring connection is that you get with certain instruments. Pearl sounds good, it's inexpensive, I wish they had a demo to see if I could connect. Then again, with any sound, especially pianos I think, it's the ...

Re: What happened with Sampletank guys?

A version of Sampletank came with my Band-In-A-Box a couple of years ago. It was maybe version 1. It wasn't too bad, the sample set was limited to what BIAB used and as I recall it wasn't even a full GM set. Then ST2 came out and I was able to upgrade really cheap. It actually sounded pretty good. T...

Re: Cakewalk for less! SONAR is Freeware now!

Developers and support in Singapore cost way less than USA. Just as good. I don't believe Cakewalk will be their flagship product but who knows, Sonar is a very worthy DAW. So far this is Sonar with no frills. Perhaps they will sell the Sonar palette of VSTs and add-ons (Dimension, Rapture, etc.) to...

I multiply one of the Inputs of 1 Adat connection from scope with the 02r. I Route any channel via the 8 Bus through the Adat into scope. So I can expand the Inputs of my scope card. It is a Audio mixing Routing Management System.
I miss my 0v-1! :-? Loved all der blinken lites too.

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

After reading all this, i keep on thinking that the big issue with this was the wrong comunication order: -This should have been talked in the background between MPA and Sonic-core before the announcement. This conversation would/should also include a presentation of the MPA stuff and what was need...

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

Do I assume correctly that MPA already "docks" to Scope 4 without any business restrictions? If it wants to dock to Scope 7, would that be a new arrangement that would be a revenue stream for Sonic-Core via some agreement.

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

How true! ROTFLMAO. FWIW, I always carry a Decibel meter and sometimes I have to plug my ears, even at corporate events, weddings, etc. When I perform solo with my Privia via Pianoteq, etc, and Laptop with a tiny NanoKontrol, or with a small band or PA-600 keyboard I just use my Mackie Reach and a S...

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

Hmmm.... sort of makes Frank's re-appearance here seem disingenous. Apparently no back office communication with Holger; first announcement of MPA on the Z may not be a lure but it seems to me this advertisement should be pre-approved. If it were a plug-in or Scopeware I would say welcome. AFAIAC Ho...

Re: samplitude DAW crashes with scope

That's weird. One should not have anything to do with the other. Did you try using Midimate on the Seq MIDI Dest as well as the Seq MIDI Source? I don't know why connecting to the Pulsar MIDI would have any effect on ASIO.I'm thinking that Sam wouldn't try to query Midimate, or if it did, it woudn't...

Re: samplitude DAW crashes with scope

FWIW sounds like Sam is querying the Scope driver as if it is a sound card to obtain midi and audio capabilities and not finding the Midi and ASIO info it is looking for. For the MIDI issue someting like Midimate may solve that part and for ASIO, Voicemeeter should work. The tiny amount of latency f...

Re: 1998 - 2018 20 years SCOPE ANNIVERSARY? Petition

Maybe different bonus discounts for 20, 15, 10 and 5 year loyal Scopers with a general 20 year anniversary special offer. It would be nice but a cause for celebration should not hurt Sonic | Core financially. How about a $20 raffle for an X-ITE with 7 where 20 year users get 20 entries, 15 - 15 and ...
