i didn't turn on my pc for last 1 year and now the pulsar 2 is not turning on. any idea what happen

*32bit xp/4gb ram/nvidia quadro 600/
*pulsar 2/scope 4.0/
*ssl duende hardware (light is flashing. so its ok)

strange is pulsar 2 midi in works correctly if i connect directly from RME midi out or from MIDI Thru from my Roland JV2080! but not from IconnectivityMidi4+ !!! that means IconnectivityMidi4+ doing something that pulsar getting it wrong.

garyb youre right. midi in connector is a bit loose i press it hard and it start working.. im afraid it will come up anytime
you guys are expert on scope cards... does a electrician can replace the connector with a proper midi socket

hi petal.. its good to see you here after a long time :) somebody told me to install this codec. https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/releases it didn't work. the problem is when i play the daw, video flicks(goes to black and come back again) for 1 frame. and if i zoom video not shows the right ...

i have an idea. my vga is geforce 240GT (driver version: 335.23) and the recent is 340.52..... i shall try this update and reply here. lets see.

nothing happen. then i install all win updates. but nothing happen. detail problem is.. it look the video is moving from where it start! and flicking 1 frame when play/stop.. here is my win update list:

hello i want to play scope synth from another pc so i connect "IconnectivityMidi4+" din midi out to pulsar midi in. but not getting any midi data :( the midi out is working fine (if i connect a usb keyboard and select it from DAW and midi out to another pc/keyboard) plus rest of the pulsar...

this board has 2 pci slot. one for pulsar 2 and other for powercore 6000 via pci/firewire card. hope it doesn't do any IRQ sharing problem.

2 (x16) PCI-E 3.0, 3 (x1) PCI-E 2.0,
and 2 5V PCI 32-bit slots

so 5v PCI 32bit slots is for Pulsar 2 ... right?

it has 3 pci and built in vga. past years we always use separate vga. not sure how this works but if it share processing power then native processing will be cut out for this.

i want to do a new pc setup for my old pulsar_2 PCI card + powercore 6000 PCI/PCIE firewire and native duende. intel has stop making motherboards. so whats the best after intel? (intel was working nice for last 8 years dp35dp)

yes i'll be mainly using the I/O. its unbeatable + sometimes BX works great for M/S recording and mixing.
